IoAnna Giannopoulou IoAnna Giannopoulou 6'1" | SF Myers Park | 2022 NC (Myers Park, SF) was crucial in the game against North Meck grabbing rebounds. Her height is certainly an asset on both ends of the court making sure that her opponents didn’t have any second chances, and she was able to put them back up with ease for her own points. She converts well from the free throw line battling through contact.
Kristynn Knight Kristynn Knight 5'6" | PG Winston Salem Christian | 2022 State NC (Winston Salem Christian, G) was a good facilitator on offense constantly moving to get a play going for her team, and she can definitely handle the ball controlling the tempo for her team. Her cuts were fun to watch flashing in the paint with perfect timing. She can get all the way to the hoop or stop suddenly for a jump shot.
Maya Hood (NC GBB, SF) had a nice spin move into a jump shot scoring two points for her team. She timed her cuts well with the ball driving in the paint for some points getting around her opponents. She can push the ball up the court with ease finding her open teammates or take it all the way herself.
Emily Hege Emily Hege CG North Davidson | 2022 State NC (North Davidson, G, pictured above) is certainly showing off why she is an excellent shooter knocking them down from deep whether she is contested or not. She was diving on the floor going after loose balls, and she didn’t shy away from scoring through contact near the basket. She was following shots, too, to grab rebounds, and her steals were instrumental in stopping her opponents from scoring. She even showed off some nice power dribbles off of offensive rebounds to get some points with her versatility.
Mary Spry Mary Spry 6'0" | PF Jesse Carson | 2022 State NC (Jesse Carson, SF) continues to show why she is ready for the collegiate level. She was pushing the ball up the court with nice passes or releasing on a fast break herself to get the pass and bucket. She can knock down shots from deep making a nice three pointer as the first half came to a close to make sure her opponents knew her team wasn’t going away. Her rebounding was instrumental, especially on the offensive side of the ball putting it back up for some points.
Hannah Isley (Jesse Carson, G) was scoring on all levels, and she battled through contact for her points making sure nothing stopped her from scoring. She followed shots and was grabbing rebounds out of nowhere making sure her opponents didn’t have any second chances. She did a nice job finding her open teammates showing off her vision of the court.
