Norah Entzi Norah Entzi 5'9" | SF Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier | 2023 State ND – Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier – (5’9/SG/2023) – Entzi really proved that she is more than just a scorer, but can be a dangerous defender as well. She played well within the Rebels press scheme and often found herself picking off a fly ball. She upped her scoring contribution from last year and shot the ball at a healthy 43% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc. She finished this year with 10 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals a contest.
Kiara Jangula – Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier – (5’6/PG/2023) – Jangula was hot to start the year and progressively cooled off. She always remained that steady player that if the shots weren’t falling she would produce numbers in other ways often being forced turnovers or a sweet-looking attack the rim dump-off pass to the post. Kiara finished the year shooting 75.6% from the free throw line, 38% from the floor and averaged 12.5 points a contest being the second leading scorer on the Rebels team, just behind Mataeya Mathern Mataeya Mathern 6'0" | SG Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier | 2024 State ND who averaged 17.
Kennedy Harter Kennedy Harter 6'0" | PF Kidder County | 2023 State ND – Kidder County – (6’0/PF/2023) – Kennedy really elevated her game from last year. She displayed the ability to play inside and out a bit and had a fantastic looking mid-range shot. She was the center pieced to the wolves tenacious 2-3 zone this year and was an intimidator at the rim. She displayed such great patients and court vision when passing out of the post to an open shooter and played with such poise throughout the entire season. Harter averaged 15 points a game, 7.8 rebounds, and nearly 3 assists per contest. She shot the ball a good 50.2% percent from the floor and was selected as an all-region player this year.
Avery Rath Avery Rath 5'6" | PG Kidder County | 2023 State ND – Kidder County – (5’5/PG/2023) – Rath had a good junior season campaign. She upped her contribution from last year as the Wolves lost an all-state guard in Madelyn Schmidt. Rath shot the ball fairly well this year for 37% from the field and 67% from the free throw line. Stats everyone would like to see go up, but with a solid summer ahead of the Wolves they should be in a good place at the top of the region come next winter. On the year Avery averaged 11 points a game, nearly 2 steals and 4.5 assists per contest.
Emily Jochim – South Border – (5’6/SG/2023) – The Mustangs didn’t have the season they would’ve hoped to have, but had a star emergence from Emily Jochim this year. Emily showed the ability to shoot the lights out of the gym and with good pace. She shot a good 41% from the field and in 1/4 of the games had 20+ points. On the year Jochim averaged 16.3 popints a game nearly 3 steals and 3 assists a contest.
