Ruthie Loomis-Goltl | Bridgeport | Jr | Forward
Loomis-Goltl makes our top performers list for the second time. Although she still contributed well in the first half, Loomis-Goltl’s persistence in the paint in the second half carried the Bulldogs to their win. She scored 15 of her game high 28 points in the second half, knocking down three of four free throws to help seal the game. Her ability to seal defenders down low and rebound for second chance points are what make her a top prospect, with interest from Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Iowa and Nebraska-Omaha.

Sadie Nelson Sadie Nelson 5'9" | CG Oakland-Craig | 2023 State NE | Oakland-Craig | Jr | Guard
Nelson came out on fire against Bridgeport. She nailed four 3-pointers and scored 16 of her team high 23 points in the first half. Nelson showed off her range early and displayed her ability to put the ball on the floor to score in the second half. She averaged 13.3 points per game this year but averaged 17 per game as a sophomore, showing she has the ability to put the ball in the basket. Nelson could be primed for a breakout senior year.

Kissinger scored 22 of St. Cecilia’s 39 points in the game. She attacked the painted area and drew contact, getting to the free throw line 17 times. Kissinger has shown the ability to hit the three but is a strong penetrator and has the ability to make the extra pass to get her teammates involved. Kissinger is primed to have another high output in the championship game.

Makenna Willis | Shelton | Jr | Guard
Willis poured it on in Shelton’s semifinal win over Hartington-Cedar Catholic, knocking down four 3-pointers on her way to a 25 point game. She displayed a nice offensive package shooting from range and penetrating for higher percentage shots. On the year, Willis has shown a nice all around game averaging around 3 asissts, 3 rebounds and 3 steals per game. Willis could be a standout in Class D next year.

Erison Vonderschmidt Erison Vonderschmidt 5'11" | PF Falls City Sacred Heart | 2022 State NE | Falls City-Sacred Heart | Sr | Forward
Vonderschmidt provided a consistent presence in the painted area for Sacred Heart. She challenged shots and used her footwork to get position for easy baskets, scoring 22 points in the game. Vonderschmidt has good length and cover a lot of area with lateral movement. She uses her size well to her advantage and was able to pull down eight rebounds on the day as well. Vonderschmidt could be a bit of a hidden gem for a school looking for some length.
