We’ve already taken a look at five, so here’s five more watch list players from the 2025 class to keep an eye out for this summer and next season.
Kaitlyn Connors Kaitlyn Connors PG Metuchen | 2025 State NJ – PG, Metuchen
Connors has some eye-popping stats from her 26 games played as a freshman, starting with her steals per game, averaging four a game. She’s a pesky defender, but one who’s got great court awareness to her game as well. Connors can really make an opponent pay just from sheer pressure on the defensive end, and don’t discount her offensive prowess either. She’s a dual-threat on the floor.
Ellie McCarron Ellie McCarron 5'4" | PG Palmyra | 2025 NJ – PF, Palmyra
McCarron showed more promise on the defensive side of the ball this season for Palmyra, averaging 2.3 steals a game along with 3.2 rebounds a game. Her 2+ assists a game were equally as impressive as she’s able to share and disperse the ball amongst her teammates well. You don’t see very many passing power forwards these days, which sets her apart from the rest.
Lilly Riggi Lilly Riggi 5'11" | PF Trinity Hall | 2025 State NJ – C, Trinity Hall
Riggi is going to fit in well as a go-to forward for Trinity Hall next season after a strong statement as a freshman. She averaged near five points and rebounds per game and was just under a block a game for the year. Riggi has all the makings of a traditional center in front of her. She just needs more time on the floor to develop, the case for most all freshmen.
CiCi Weatherspool CiCi Weatherspool SG Brick Township | 2025 NJ – SG, Brick Township
Weatherspool is an early three and D guard in the making for Brick Township, having hit 10 threes as a freshman along with 26 steals over the course of the season. Those numbers are building blocks for the future for Weatherspool on this Dragons team. She looks like a confident shooter who will increase her perimeter shooting stats this coming season. Her defense is coming along nicely, which has given her that extra boost playing aggressive and up on opponents.
Mia Firdman Mia Firdman 5'8" | SG Gov. Livingston | 2025 State NJ – SG, Gov. Livingston
Firdman has a small sample size from her freshman year with just 15 games played. However, her shooting stats have already shown glimpses of future success for her. Nearly 46 percent of Firdman’s scoring came from beyond the arc, having knocked down 11 threes on the year. If she can keep up those stats moving forward, she, with more playing time, could knock down two threes a game on average as soon as next season.
