GameChangers – Key 17U Point Guards

To be a Prep Girls Hoops GameChanger from the point guard spot, you need to possess something special, or show a glimpse of being a player who will help lead your team to success. These 17U players showed me that quality last weekend at the PGH Victory Region Kick Off!
Alex Stewart, 2023, M14 Hoops 2023 BS Select
She is a player who showed some good promise and skill during the game I saw. She is underrated and has good range, can score from the three-point. line and is a scrappy. player. She can get after it, make plays happen and does a nice job anticipates well.
Camryn Poole, 5-7 2023, Kentucky Ice 2023 Select
A key part of a solid club, Camryn (feature photo above) is a good aggressive point guard who can score well from the perimeter, steps behind the arc and can contribute. She showed good command for the game, and was able to be a leader like a good point guard should. She plays solid on-ball defense, can pressure the defender and really gets after it!
Lexi Deaver, 5-9 2023, Dayton Metro 2023 Welch
It is her first year with this club, and she has settled in nicely as a floor leader for the Metro. Lexi loves to push the ball and can play at different tempos. She does a great job executing the offense and defensively she can guard on-ball, create pressure and capitalize on turnovers for her team.
Lexi Renya, 5-5 2025, Illinois Rockets 2023 2
Another good leader and does a good job getting into the paint as a slasher, and can finish well. She plays with a high motor and moves well, crafty and a good decision maker. Able to create off her defense, get steals and turn them into scoring chances for her team. Good basketball IQ.
Rachel Zacks, 5-9 2023, Full Package 2
I liked her game as a leader and could beat you in a variety of ways. Not only can she get to the rim with good body control and score well, she can beat you also from perimeter, with a good three-point range. I hope to see her again on the circuit to see how much she improves, she has good potential.
Autumn Rucker, 5-9 2023, Indiana Showcase 2023 Black
Athletic and crafty point guard with good speed and handles. Able to create and move to play other spots on the court. Loves to push tempo and can create space with her defender. Impressive ceiling and watch for her game to continue to grow if she gets in the gym this summer. (pictured left)
