There will be some excellent talent at all positions and all levels for college coaches to see. This is Part 2 of our look at some of the skilled athletes that will be at the event.
Part 1 can be found below.
Christen Banks Christen Banks 5'8" | CG Southfield A&T | 2025 State MI (2025, Michigan Lady Plamakers 2024, Southfield A & T)
Banks will be an exciting young prospect to watch this weekend. She’s electric with the ball and has some lateral quickness. Banks will get it done at both ends of the floor.
Adeline Gill (2025, Harbor Impact 2025, Brandywine)
Gill showed some real flashes during high school season. She didn’t look like a freshman on the basketball court, that much is for sure. She was a consistent scorer that recognized good looks at the rim.
Peyton Greenwood (2025, Illinois Phoenix 2024, Rich Township)
Greenwood is a fiesty guard prospect. She has very active hands on defense and really attack shooters on closeouts. Greenwood can bury a triple when she gets a tiny bit of space.
Melissa Mentzer (2024 Downriver Elite 2023, New Boston Huron)
Mentzer is a quickly developing wing prospect. She continues to improve and diversify as a scorer. I’m looking forward to seeing her offensive and defensive improvements this weekend.
Priyah Mericle (2025, The Naturals 2025, East Jackson)
Mericle is a speedy athlete that has some fireworks to her game. She can score at any level and must always be accounted for by the defense. Mericle had a nice freshman high school season.
Sophie Nguyen (2025, Indiana Red Storm 2025, Southport)
There have been some whispers and excitement around this prospects game. She moves well in the lane and can run the floor as well. Nguyen is definitely a player to keep an eye on at the Great Lakes Challenge.
Maeve Nolan Maeve Nolan PG Berkley | 2024 State MI (2024, Michigan Goonies 2024, Berkley)
Nolan has a little throwback point guard to her game. She handles the ball well and gets it to where it needs to be. Nolan also defends the ball at a high level.
