Every court was flooded with talented prospects and college coaches sitting on the sideline, resulting in a very entertaining event. There were many memorable individual performances, but these 4 stood out the most.
Ahnay Adams Ahnay Adams 5'6" | PG Tilton | 2024 State New E | MCW Starz| 5’6’’| PG| ’24
Adams continues her blazing hot start to the spring season with a tremendous weekend at Spooky Nook. What separates Adams from everyone else is her willingness to outwork her opponent every single possession. I noticed it most on the glass. At 5’6’’, Adams should never be a game’s most competitive rebounder, but she relentlessly attacked throughout the whole game. She consistently pulled down a handful of offensive rebounds and racked up second-chance points.
Abby Wager Abby Wager 6'0" | SG Mansfield | 2023 State New E | NEX Elite| 5’11’’| SG| ’23
Every time I watch Wager, she is awesome on both sides of the ball. Her length and defensive versatility allow her to defend multiple positions. At Spooky Nook, Wager’s shot-creating and making ability was eye-popping. She is efficient at shooting off the dribble from the perimeter and doesn’t over-dribble to get to her spots. Wager knows how to score and get open, and she makes it look easy.
Christina Pham Christina Pham 5'7" | PG Noble & Greenough | 2025 State New E | Shooting Touch| 5’7’’| PG| ’25
Pham widened the gap between herself and the second-best prospect in the ’25 class. After“Live! At The Nook”, she left no doubt in anyone’s mind who the best player in the class was. Shooting Touch goes 5-0 over the weekend, and Pham was in the driver’s seat of a couple of comeback wins against tough competition. All Pham does is win games while staying poised and composed the whole time. The shot-making from all levels was ridiculous, and when Pham starts cooking, it trickles down to the rest of her teammates.
Oluchi Okananwa Oluchi Okananwa 5'10" | CG Worcester Academy | 2023 State New E | Rivals| 5’10’’| CG| ’23
This is the time of year when Okananwa elevates her game a notch, and I saw bursts of high-level throughout the weekend. In transition, she showcased her patented pull-up mid-range jumper, one of the deadliest signature moves of anyone in the ’23 class. Overall, I thought Okananwa looked dialed in on both sides of the ball and was an active playmaker. It looked like she was hitting her stride and getting in a good rhythm for a Rivals team that looks like the best team in New England.
