Jordan Race Jordan Race 5'11" | SF King's Academy | 2023 State FL – King’s Academy
Jordan Race Jordan Race 5'11" | SF King's Academy | 2023 State FL is a versatile prospect out of The King’s Academy. The 5-foot-11 wing/shooting guard averaged 8.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.3 steals per game. In addition, Race hit 28 3-pointers. Overall, she played well versus big-time competition. Against St. Thomas Aquinas (27-4), Race scored 19 points while shooting 7-of-10 from the field. She also grabbed seven boards and dished out two assists. Overall, Race scored in double-figures in 13 contests. Her length and athleticism also attributed to 14 games of seven or more boards. Race was a key factor in King’s Academy winning 24 games and getting to the 3A state final four. She was named 2nd team All-County by the Sun Sentinel. Race is a member of the Miami Suns. Brooke Rebhan Brooke Rebhan 5'3" | PG Westminster Chistian | 2023 State FL – Westminster Christian
Brooke Rebhan Brooke Rebhan 5'3" | PG Westminster Chistian | 2023 State FL put up fairly solid numbers for Westminster Christian. The 5-foot-3 guard tied for the team lead with 13.2 points per game while grabbing 4.9 boards per contest. Rebhan also hit 38 3-pointers. Moreover, she knocked down three or more from deep in seven games. Improving her overall shooting efficiency from all levels would help her stock this spring. Rebhan could also be more consistent from the free-throw line. On the boards, she grabbed six or more rebounds in seven games. Moreover, Rebhan put in work on the offensive glass with 41 total. She was also an active defender with 46 steals.
Madison Mingo Madison Mingo 5'8" | CG State FL – Cardinal Newman
Madison Mingo Madison Mingo 5'8" | CG State FL is a player with some size and skill at the forward spot. The 5-foot-9 prospect averaged 10 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game for the Lady Crusaders. Moreover, Mingo shot an efficient 54-of-140 (39 percent) from deep. Against Okeechobee (20-5), Mingo scored 15 points and went 4-of-7 shooting from deep. She also knocked down four 3-pointers against 20-9 Miami High. Mingo’s length attributed to eight games with nine or more rebounds. Furthermore, she blocked 36 shots. An area to work on this spring would be her shooting inside the key.
Makayla Brown Makayla Brown 5'9" | PF Miami Central | 2022 State FL – Miami Slam
Makayla Brown Makayla Brown 5'9" | PF Miami Central | 2022 State FL was fairly productive this season for Miami Slam. The 5-foot-8 power forward scored in double-figures in four games and grabbed 27 total rebounds in those contests. Moreover, she had three games with 5 or more boards on the offensive glass. Against Somerset Academy Silver Palms (16-10), Brown scored nine points and had nine boards. Given her size, she is a reliable player around the paint.
Joelle Wilson – Miami High
Joelle Wilson nearly averaged a double-double for Miami High. The 6-foot forward posted 8.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting 49 percent from the field. Compared to her sophomore season, Wilson improved her shooting by fourteen percentage points. Overall, she scored in double-figures in eleven games. Moreover, Wilson had seven double-doubles. On defense, she recorded 63 steals and 33 blocks. Against Lake Norman (24-4), Wilson scored 16 points and grabbed nine boards on 8-of-10 shooting from the field. She helped Miami High reach the 7A state finals.
