Taniyah Davis 2025 5’10 Alief Taylor High School, TX (Texas Cagers Select 2024)
Taniyah is a high level forward who dominates in the paint on both ends of the floor. I was very impressed with the confidence she had in the paint, and her ability to dominate older players on the block. She possesses great length and uses it to calmly score over defenders in the paint, especially with her back to the basket. Her team has two high level forwards and her ability to play inside-out allows the two of them to dominate during their time on the court together.
She is a menace on the defensive end of the floor. She is an elite weak side defender who always comes over at the right time to protect the rim. Her aggressiveness and ability to do it all in the paint certainly struck fear in her opponents hearts and made them think twice about attacking the basket. She blocked shots and even snatched the ball out of her opponents grasp on multiple occasions, and always made the right outlet passes to jump start her team’s fast break opportunities. Her work on the glass on both ends of the floor gave her team easy second chance points through her ability to box out and seal her opponents from having a chance of battling with her on the glass.
Ava Mcintyre 2025 5’11 Oklahoma Christian School, OK (Team Buddy Buckets 2025)
Ava is a skilled wing who has all the tools on the offensive end of the floor to dominate at all three levels of the floor. She has great ball control, and a real ability to take her opponents off the dribble and get to the rim. Her ability to turn the corner and get two feet into the paint put real pressure on the defense and allowed her to find her open teammates on the outside. She is a smooth and patient finisher in the paint. However her real skill lies in her ability to calmly shoot the basketball despite intense defense. She always seems to calmly rise up and shoot over the top of her defenders from all three levels of the floor. She is willing to use her size to her advantage and take smaller matchups on the block with her back to the basket. She displayed a good use of head fakes out of the post as well. On the defensive end of the floor, she anchors her team’s defense through her action as a help defender in the paint. Her ability to come over and throw away jump shots on the perimeter paired with her ability to play the passing lanes gave her team a multitude of fast break opportunities.
Amari Hamer 2025 5’5 Broken Arrow High School, OK (Rebel Elite 2025)
Amari is a very skilled point guard who has the ability to control the tempo of the game and set up her teammates for any look she wants. She made good one handed passes up the court on the fast break that set up her streaking teammates for easy layups. She is not just a guard who sets up her teammates however, she calmly got to her spots in the midrange and knocked them down when given space. She even hit a tough buzzer beater to end the first half fading away, and after she chased down a long rebound. I loved the way her jumper looked from all three levels of the floor.
She also showed an ability to play bigger than her size, and really shined on the defensive end of the floor. Whether she was locking up her opponents on ball or coming over from the weak side and throwing shots into the stands, she always seemed to be involved in their teams defensive plays. I would like to see her work on her ability to get into the paint and finish over bigger defenders.
Sariah Fuentes 2025 5’6 Klein Cain High School, TX (Houston Lady Nets 2024)
Sariah is a high level guard who thrives at all three levels of the floor. She is a good shooter from beyond the arc, especially off the dribble. It was fun watching her manipulate the defense with her eyes while calmly hitting shots in the midrange and from the three point line. She played well and got her teammates involved well, displaying some high level passes in the half court to find cutting teammates. I was very impressed for her ability to play big for her size and position on both ends of the floor. She is able to play with her back to the basket, and score in the paint from her work on the offensive glass. I was very impressed with her work on the defensive end of the floor, she had multiple chase down blocks on the fast break. She is a good help defender on the weak side, who knows the right time to come over to cut off her opponents options.
Olivia Linder Olivia Linder 5'7" | CG Mingo Valley | 2025 OK 2025 5’7 Osiel High School, OK (Team Griffin OK PWR 2025 Aeschelman)
Olivia is an intelligent combo guard who showed off her aggressiveness and her ability to get by seemingly anyone who was in front of her. I was very impressed with the ease in which she took her opponents off the dribble, and turned the corner on them within the half court. She lived in the paint through her ability to get into the lane and put pressure on the defense. She also displayed some real basketball IQ and off ball awareness, she is a willing cutter without the basketball, and always seems to put pressure on the defense with her constant movement. I was very impressed with her ability to finish at the rim, however I would like to see her work on creating more shots for herself off the dribble, especially in the midrange.
