I just had a brainstorm because as usual, my inSIMnia clicks in because my sleep pattern was interrupted a couple of weeks ago by an after 11 pm call, from a guy so that definitely upset me yet on the flip, it also opens my mind to new things that I have to write down before I forget them so as far as PGH Top 100 goes, I base things on what I see, could care less about stats, what someone else says or any of that because thing, "it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against" which means I know players that have averaged 30, 40 even 50 PPG in high school that did little or nothing in college and even more importantly the second thing, show me on the court so these players showed me and will be added on the next go-round <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="417979" first="DaNae" last="Crosby"]-5’7 PG (Braswell HS) Team Stay Ready 2024</strong> Crosby just blew me away, yeah I knew she could play defense yet I didn't know she could play D as she played. I love the intensity and her "on the ball" baseline to baseline was smothering, let me give it to you another way, I was sweating from her heat yet she also did a good job attacking from every angle imaginable to score, including after contact but her jumper, it's a legitimate jumper, like elevate off the ground and release jumper, was consistent, also her court vision was nothing nice but what I really enjoyed more than anything was her ability to just take over the game as well get her teammates involved <strong>Taylor Spencer-5’8 PG (Cleveland HS) Houston Lady Nets 2024</strong> Spencer for, awe I forgot, not using that old TV series no one remembers but me yet okay, in a way I am going to tie this in because there is no me as that Spenser was a private eye that solved mysteries yet this Spencer also solved plenty of mysteries and let me say this, she is of the best defensive players that do things instinctively I have seen in a very long time, keep in mind the game has changed numerous times and I've been involved since the turn of the century so watching her read the floor and cover it the way she does just amazes me plus she has a jumper and an explosive first step yet her ability to find ways to put the ball in the basket is something else <strong>Kennedy Simpson-5’6 CG (Yes Prep Secondary) Houston Lady Nets 2024</strong> Simpson falls into that "I knew you before you were born category" as her mom told me I sold her, her very first pager when she was 18 over 20 years ago so when I saw her daughter, I immediately heard beeps going off and the screen reading 911 because yall are going to need some help. She's playing up yet by her mannerisms and skillset, you would never know she's still in middle school yet she can score, slices to the basket with ease, finishes strongly after the lick, but her ability to create that jumper is definitely something you want to take notice of, did I mention she was playing up because her game will keep going up, Up and AWAY
