16u Standouts At The Great Lakes Challenge – Part 1

The talent and effort was special at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit's Great Lakes Challenge. There were a lot of players that turned heads with solid performances. She was a matchup nightmare for her opponents with her ability to score at all 3 levels. She showed the ability to get hot from behind the arc, like she did burying 2 triples in 20 seconds and changing the momentum of a game on Sunday morning. Freshcorn is solid as a primary ball handler and is a positive team leader that her teammates will rally around. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="244229" first="Sarah" last="Laprairie"] (2024, PR1DE 2024, Stoney Creek)</strong> Laprairie played a very aggressive style of basketball throughout the weekend. She put the ball on the floor and consistently and effectively attacked the rim. Laprairie was also very solid as a bal handler and facilitator. <strong>Taylor Lockhart (2024, TC Elite 2024, Stockbridge)</strong> Lockhart was tremendous on the offensive glass. She had multiple put back opportunities and converted on most of them. She was a superior all around athlete with tremendous ease of movement. Morson could slash and attack the defense as well as anyone in her team's bracket. She was working hard on the block with her back to the basket. Resovsky effectively established position on the offensive end, which helped her earn scoring opportunities and aided in her dominating the glass. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="304246" first="Gracee" last="Robidou"] (2024, MSF Flight 2024, Stockbridge)</strong> Robidou caught my eye early in the event and was impressive at every turn from there on out. She worked really well off the deep corner and the baseline. Robidou showed the ability to bury a jumper without hesitation off the catch. She can really sneak up on her opponents, making big plays in bunches. Spencer always finds a way to have an influence on the game. She's definitely a name for college coaches to remember.
