Reagan Jackson Reagan Jackson 5'8" | CG Kennedale | 2023 State TX – 5’8 CG (Kennedale HS) Lady Jets 2023 3SSB
Jackson is one of the most gifted players in her Texas class but she’s also a player that understands the game and plays within herself meaning she forces nothing and lets the game come to her however let me through somewhat of an amendment into what I just said because she can take over a game with the blink of an eye, yet don’t blink, you might miss something even though it seems like she gets on a roll, she misses nothing mid to long-range as well as off the dribble and her off-balances finishes after contact just pump me up, so does the heat she applies on defense
Tristan Smith-6’0 SG/SF (Edgewood HS) Texas Platinum 2023 Bates
Smith opened up the event by impressing me with her timing and all I could see was the bottom of her grey shoes as she elevated to both blocks shots as well as finished off the dribble, yeah after the lick but hold on, she’s long and athletic, remember that is and always will be the base and watching her play the passing lane and handle the ball in the open court to finish was impressive. She creates her shot under pressure, the midrange was smooth and consistent yet she also showed she could drop the jumper in transition, and the “stop and pop” was clicking
Parker Stevenson Parker Stevenson 5'6" | PG Bethel | 2023 State OK -5’6 PG (Bethel HS) Oklahoma Swift 2023
Stevenson saw the floor and threaded the needle like a master seamstress, GOOGLE IT, and those “on the money passes” with that added ZIP gave her teammates good lucks but she’s vocal, understands how to control the tempo, that’s huge from the 1 however don’t get it twisted because she understands how to create her shot, under pressure and dropped both the mid and long-range to keep the defender honest, well she finished and (or) dished off the dribble as well
Emily Robinson Emily Robinson 5'10" | SF Caddo | 2023 State OK -5’10 SG (Caddo HS) Oklahoma Lady Fusion 2023
Robinson made sure she wasn’t a Crusoe as she understood how to get hers “in the flow” yet her ingenuity, aka “creating her shot” JUST DID IT for me. She scored in transition by running the floor and receiving, she also scored in the set using a deceptive first step and that off the dribble was nice, especially seeing her hanging in the air but the jumper is smooth, mid to long-range, and there is no way I’m closing this eval out with talking about the spin she did that made me dizzy because she did it, you guessed it, “in the flow”
Jordyn Hernandez-6’0 SF (Burges HS) New Mexico Select 2023 [2024]
Hernandez finds ways to impress me every time I see her play, maybe it’s her being long and athletic, maybe it’s her smoothness handling the ball or just maybe it’s because she can score, off the dribble, the midrange with a hand in her face or the long-range but I think it’s probably all of the above but I have to also add she does something I really love seeing players do, that’s playing the passing lane and at her size, her court vision is very nice but watching her elevate to block shots as well as rebound keeps me smiling
