Continue ReadingCollege coaches are already recruiting these kids that we are going to discuss, it could be true or it could be false, but here are kids that we believe the coaches are recruiting and are ready to offer them as time permits. They are heralded, they are high power athletes and they have a following when it comes to Grassroots Basketball in the Spring and Summer. These kids can play and I see why they would be recruited early and college coaches are making the genuine effort to let them know they are interested in these kids.
2024, 5’5, PG, Clovis West HS, Athena Tomlinson Athena Tomlinson 5'5" | PG Clovis West | 2024 State CA – (Has (5) Offers at the moment; Conferences are Pac12, MWC, BigWest & CUSA) – Athena is fun to watch, she is smooth, she is quick, she is a great ball handler, she is tough on the defensive end of the floor. She is very heralded as well in the basketball world and she is well known to coaches and players and they respect her game. She can score from all three levels on the floor, she can is a playmaker for all teammates and she is really learning to be a point guard under the tutelage of her high school and club coaches. We like her positive spirit and her determination to get better day by day and she has all the right things happening for her, cause her parents have taught her well.
2024, 5’6, PG/CG, St. Anthony HS, Ryann Bennett Ryann Bennett 5'6" | PG St. Anthony | 2024 State CA – Ryann is a playmaker in all aspects of the game, she is a true point guard in every since of the word. She has great size for a point guard, nice body type for an athlete of her stature, she uses all of her skill set to make herself and teammates better. She has been taught well, with her father being a coach in the game, he has given her the IQ for the game to play it the right way, this is very prevalent in what we see from her. I like her tenacity for the game, she makes the right play each and every time she is on the floor, she has it engrained in her DNA to be a basketball player.
2024, 6’0, SF, Bakersfield HS, Faith Curry Faith Curry 6'1" | SG Liberty | 2024 State CA – (Has (3) Offers at the moment; Conferences are MWC & BigWest) – can do it all, she is more of a wing than a post player, but do not get me wrong , she can play in the paint as well. Love her determination and skillset, she gets better each time I see her and she is gonna get better a lot more in the near future. She is heralded and she is a tough customer on the floor, she will fight hard for a rebound and then kick the outlet to a guard and get into the lane for a transition layup. She has great size and uses it well, she will be tough to guard this coming spring and summer, she is really good to me as a scout.
2024, 6’1, PF, Sierra Canyon HS, Mackenly Randolph Mackenly Randolph 5'10" | PF Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA – (Has (6) Offers at the moment; Conferences are Pac12, ACC & Big10, ) – Mackenly is a special one in this list, we love that way she plays the game, she reminds me so much of her father, Zack Randolph, she is just as smooth as he was in the paint. I watched this kid get buckets in the paint with ease, step out to the freethrow line and make shots as well as run girls down on defense and block shots. She is dynamic, can run and finish in transition like a gazelle, she is tough on defense and she can make plays for herself and teammates at will. This kid is really special and we are watching her in her progression of the game….
