Summer Sodek-5’4 PG (Austin Elite Sparks)
Sodek is heady, under control, plays within herself and all of that falls under #THROWBACK yet her ability to run a team at this stage is definitely huge. She can handle the ball under pressure and she also sees the floor well so when you have all that court vision, things will fall into place yet she drops the jumper as well as scores off the dribble
Faith Etienne-5’8 SF(Austin Elite Sparks) [2027]
Etienne’s name preceded her so everything I heard about her was true and when you start with her being “long and athletic” remember that’s the base, her UPS, as well as the upside, is going to create some problems because she has good timing to block, deflect and alter shots, she plays the passing lane, she can handle the ball in the open court plus she also attacks and finishes with an impressive first step
Simone Pryor-5’2 CG (SA Lady Hoops Maroon)
Pryor is one of the most explosive young guards that also add some acrobatics in the mix and, one play, I wish I had on video, where the pass was overthrown, she ran it down and had the court presence to know exactly where she was to attempt a backward layup going out of bounds, that’s next-level stuff right now. She creates her shot and drops the mid to long-range yet she also attacks from wherever she wants and sees the floor very well
Jazelle Scott-5’2 PG (SA Lady Hoops Maroon)
Scott is another explosive guard that will be blowing up and she also has one of the best pull-up jumpers as well as “stop and pop” in transition in her class, I don’t fabricate, I don’t even use fabric softener yet she hardens up on defense. on the ball is smothering but her court vision and making the right passes, not to leave out her “poise under pressure” but her range is unlimited
Alysia Gholston-5’7 PF (SA Lady Hoops Maroon)
Gholston is one of the MOST IMPROVED players I have seen in middle school. Yeah, she got that #THROWBACK a while back because of her DESIRE to go after the ball off the rim, wherever it was, and going what she does around the basket at her size is also impressive. She finishes with players literally hanging on her, which speaks volumes about her strength and power but get this, she follows her shot and even passed the ball well from her position
