I have excluded the 2022 class for this piece.
Let’s look at some of those prospects…
Gianna Robles Gianna Robles 5'3" | PG Doral Academy | 2025 State FL – Doral Academy
2025 Gianna Robles Gianna Robles 5'3" | PG Doral Academy | 2025 State FL is a solid prospect out of Doral Academy. The 5-foot-1 Robles averaged 12.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game while hitting 31 percent of her 3-pointers. Robles shot at least 30 percent from deep in nine of 11 games. I think she can take the next step by improving her shooting efficiency inside the arc.
Madison Aguilera Madison Aguilera 5'3" | PG Gulliver Prep | 2023 State FL – Gulliver Prep
2023 Madison Aguilera Madison Aguilera 5'3" | PG Gulliver Prep | 2023 State FL is one of the best shooters in Florida. The 5-foot-4 prospect averaged 21.8 points, 4.7 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game as a junior. Aguilera also hit 71 3-pointers, including nine against North Broward Prep. She was named First Team All-County by the Miami Herald. Aguilera will score in bunches at unlimited range. Her quick release makes her difficult to defend. Aguilera is also a track athlete.
Kamryn Corporan Kamryn Corporan 5'3" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL – St. Thomas Aquinas
2024 Kamryn Corporan Kamryn Corporan 5'3" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL played valuable minutes for the 6A state champions. The 5-foot-3 point guard averaged 4.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game as a sophomore. Corporan is strong in transition with high-level quickness. I think she has plenty of upside as an offensive guard, particularly in one-on-one situations. Corporan should capitalize on the circuit and in practices at St. Thomas Aquinas by how much talent the Raiders deploy. Winning back-to-back state titles should only increase the prestige/competition level within the program.
Jazlyn Laguna Jazlyn Laguna 5'0" | CG Everglades | 2024 State FL / Jaylyn Laguna Jaylyn Laguna 5'0" | CG Everglades | 2024 State FL – Miramar Everglades
2024’s Jazlyn and Jaylyn Laguna Jaylyn Laguna 5'0" | CG Everglades | 2024 State FL are two guards that handle a lot of responsibility. They both are around 5’3 and can play either guard spot. The Laguna’s are good shooters and play with flash off the perimeter. In addition, their awareness playing with one another is a plus.
Others to watch:
Ashleigh Battle Ashleigh Battle 5'2" | PG Blanche Ely | 2023 State FL (5’2) – Battle has strong quickness and ball skill out of the backcourt. She plays fast in transition and can knock down an open three. On defense, she has good lateral quickness to stay in front of her defender.
