Really loved watching her play in the Sunday morning session, and she displayed a lot of positive skills for a point guard. She has very good quickness and a solid midrange shot. Able to create shots against a defender, once going baseline for a 10-footer off balance. She can get to the rim and attack with pressure. She does a solid job with her interior passes into the paint and is a good leader on the court. (featured photo above)

The game I was looking forward to was Sunday morning when a very talented Blaze team battled a loaded, experienced Wolverinas team out of Illinois. The outcome was one-sided, but Abdurraqib proved she was one of the top point guards on any court this weekend. Initially she showed me incredible leadership and the ability to direct a good team. She also possesses great explosion with the ball, a very good passer and was impressive the way she threaded the ball into the paint.

A very good point guard with the ability to use her solid handles and quickness to create chances for her team in a variety of ways. She explodes well and can float through the lane to score at the rim with command. Good footwork and a good catch-and-shoot player. Defensively she has active hands, can apply pressure and force mistakes. Saw her toward the end of the morning Sunday and she showed good intensity and desire,

Loved the way this guard handled the game. First of all, her intensity is tremendous, and when she got to the rim to score, she used it to energize her teammates and herself. She has a good basketball IQ and does a good job relocating. Her on-ball defense is very solid and she runs wide well. She is always moving and doesn’t stand, has 3-point range and stays after the play. Fun to watch.

She is a long, athletic wins who always seems to be in position for second-chance rebounds for her team. She is solid in the paint, and was able to pull the trigger from midrange. Seemed to have a good work ethic in the one game I saw late Sunday.
