As each day progressed players were identified as top performers for their teams in games. I joined other scouts to cover day 1 while my colleagues picked up some views on day 2. Below is a list more 15U standouts with some brief notes. All are 2025s
Amari Hamer, 5’5″, G, Broken Arrow (OK), Rebel Elite 2025 – On day 2 scout Brady Peterson said Hamer “…has been the strongest kid on the court. Unless someone gets their whole body in front of her she’s going to run through the defense.”
Keira Ho, 5’7″, SF, Olathe South (KS), Kansas Elite DDI – While she has a tendency to put the ball on the floor longer than she should, she does a good job of creating off the dribble in the mid-range area and can split defenders.
Anna Minor, 5’10″, F, Lees Summit (MO), Kansas Elite DDI – At an event where few players laid wood on opponents when the ball was in the air, Minor was among the few who boxed well on both ends. She also showed she is a a solid post defender.
Brooklyn Mitchell, 5’7″, Harrison (AR), Yanders Law 2025 – Brady Peterson said Mitchell can defend the wing and post well and knock down shots in streaks.
Laykin Moore Laykin Moore 5'10" | SF Mountain Home | 2025 State AR , 5’10″, G/F, Mountain Home (AR), Yanders Law 2025 – Brady Peterson said Moore “…is as versatile as they come. She’s initiated offense, attacked off the dribble and defended on the block.”
Lynzie Overstreet, 5’4″, G, Will Rogers (OK), Rebel Elite 2025 – Brady Peterson said Overstreet “…has been in the right place all the time. She’s constantly been finding open pockets of space to exploit and she’s earned some on-ball turnovers.”
Kyra Shaull, 6’2″, C, Tipton (IA), Iowa Prep Red 2025, 2025 – Brady Peterson liked how effective Shaull was around the rim. “She’s She’s used her size well to create extra possessions or limit the opposing offense to one shot.”
Taelor Tomlinson Taelor Tomlinson 5'4" | CG Berryville | 2025 State AR , 5’6″, CG, Berryville (AR), AAO Flight 2025 – Tomlinson showed she is a shooter who had among the most legitimate, deep range in the 15U group. She also showed solid transition handles.
