Keara Mattingly (Kansas Elite-Novicoff): A 5’10″ forward from Archie who is able to score with a variety of crafty moves around the basket or on the drive. She’s very patient and she probes the defense in search of creases before she goes on the attack. She also does a good job of playing through any contact to get herself to the free throw line.
Teegen Broaden (KC Royalty): A 6’1″ small forward from St. Joe Central with the height and versatility to impact the game in many ways. She makes good of her length and excellent timing to be a very effective shot blocker. She is also tough on the drive as she can slash into the lane from either direction with equal effectiveness. She’s very mobile as she can grab a rebound and lead the fast break with her ball handling ability.
Katie Mihelic (Flash KC): A 6’0″ forward from Liberty who was impressive with the variety of ways that she could score in the low post. She had good footwork and she made good use of pump fakes inside to get buckets. She also had a nice little dream shake to set up her turnaround jumper in the lane.
Charlie Broaden Charlie Broaden 6'0" | CG Central (St. Joe) | 2023 State MO (KC Royalty): A 6’1″ 2023 wing from St. Joe Central who has the ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor with her height and length. She is a solid ball handler and playmaker who can get to the basket with her long stride. She is also a versatile defender who can block a shot inside or venture on to the perimeter to get deflections and disrupt with her wingspan.
Rylee Vierthaler (Kansas Elite-Novicoff): A 5’11″ forward from Maryville who did an excellent job in the low post against taller players. Her mobility inside was very good as she was always on the balls of her feet and ready to move in any direction. She stayed low when she sealed opponents inside and displayed quick feet and some good fundamentals to score in the post.
