Ellianna Gramling (SHOtime Basketball 2024): It was the second successive weekend that I got a chance to watch this talented 6’0″ forward from Summit Christian and I continued to be impressed. She has a very nice turnaround jumper on the baseline and she can also score over either shoulder in the post on a drop step move. She also stepped outside and hit the 3-pointer off the catch.
Taylor Blehm (Missouri Flight 2024): A 5’11″ forward from Marion C. Early displayed a nice offensive package where she took advantage of her height and versatile skill set. She had good footwork and a solid array of moves in the post to score. She could also step outside and hit the high-arching 3-pointer off the pick and pop. She is also a very willing screener, which is a very underrated skill.
Ellison Mehrhoff (Missouri Flight 2024): A 5’10″ forward from Spokane who is a versatile offensive player. She can score with both hands around the basket very effectively and she does a good job of moving without the ball to create scoring opportunities. She is a solid ball handler on the drive who can also knock down the 3-pointer.
Lauren Babbitt (Flash KC 2024): A 6’0″ forward from Liberty North who operates well in the high post of her offense. She’s a good passer who locates the open cutters on the backdoor for easy baskets. She’s also very mobile and was able to finish in the transition game.
