212 14u really impressed me with their size and play in the 2022 Prep Hoops Girls Live event in Council Bluffs at the Iowa West Fieldhouse. Every player has length and size. These girls are a matchup problem. Here’s a quick glance at the 2026 group.
Adalyn Long – Washington #23
Adalyn plays the point guard position and does an excellent job playing with pace against pressure and changing speeds to beat pressure. Her biggest strength is her ability to shoot the basketball with range. She is one of the better shooters at the 14U age level. She has had countless games this summer and last winter with 5+ three-pointers made. She has become an effective driver, using her ability to shoot to attack hard close-outs and get to the lane for herself or her teammates.
Kennedy Skaggs – Davis County #24
Kennedy is a strong, scoring wing with the ability to score at all three levels on the floor. Kennedy is a lefty, but has improved her ability to attack both directions off the dribble and has a really nice stroke from 3 to keep defenses honest. She is a tireless worker and loves to compete. With her continued work ethic and passion for the game, Kennedy has a very high ceiling as a player.
Zoe Allen – Williamsburg #11
Zoe is a forward/post that has the ability to score from the mid-range or low post. She has grown as a player by leaps and bounds in the past year and has become a consistent offensive threat for the 212° team. She is very effective around the high post where she is able to make shots or attack and finish around the rim. In the low post, Zoe continues to grow and develop and has turned herself into a viable low post threat that can get to the foul line or score when she has the opportunity.
Lauryn Hynek – Iowa City West # 31
Lauryn is a very strong wing player that attacks the basket as hard as any guard her age. She is effective in attacking either direction off the dribble and once she gets to the paint, Lauryn is very creative and crafty finding ways to score over taller defenders. She plays a high motor and makes plays on both ends of the floor with energy.
Brynn Davis – North Liberty #19
Brynn is a forward/post that is comfortable at any spot on the floor. She has a nice jump shot all the way out to the three-point line. Brynn is an effective post with her ability to score with either hand very well and is a very willing and capable passer out of the post allowing her teammates to get wide-open looks from 3. She is a high-level communicator who leads her team on both ends of the floor.
Ella Rosic – Northwest (Waukee) #2
Ella is a combo guard that is an elite-level shooter. Ella shoots a high percentage from the 3-point line and can shoot the ball from deep with consistency. Off-the-ball Ella moves extremely well as she is consistently hunting down her shot. Against hard closeouts or scouting report defenses, she is able to get to her pull-up effectively or attack and finish with a floater in the paint. Very high IQ player that is becoming more and more comfortable attacking pressure.
Finley Jacque – Riverside #4
Finley is a very quick and energetic combo guard. She is a very good ball distributor and does a great job finding open teammates in positions to score. She is becoming better as a driver and scorer. Finley brings great defensive effort and quickness on the floor to help start the defensive pressure early in possessions.
Leighton Messinger – Washington #3
Leighton is a high-level, long athletic wing that does all the little things extremely well for the 212° team. She rebounds very well for a wing and is able to be very effective defensively with her length and quickness. She disrupts a lot of offenses and does a great job guarding high-level scorers. Leighton is becoming a more confident scorer and always finds a way to contribute through put-backs or jump shots.
