Elizabeth Walton Elizabeth Walton 5'7" | PG The Village | 2023 State TX -5’7 CG (The Village School) TNBA Houston 2023
Walton consistently was in the mix for Top Performer at each event she played in on The Circuit yet her clutch performances were among the best. She understands the game, she also understands how to create contact which is why I call her an “and one waiting to happen” yet her mid to long-range is always on
Tatiana Oliver Tatiana Oliver 5'8" | SG C. E. Byrd | 2023 TX -5’7 CG (Byrd HS) O.W.E. Family Renegades 2023
Oliver left me speechless watching her simply go off several times, many when the game was on the line, and her ability to simply take over games was an eye-opener. Her range is unlimited, she attacks powerfully off the dribble, well she also finishes the same way, powerfully and this includes “after contact”
Julianna Matlock Julianna Matlock 5'11" | C Will Rogers | 2023 State OK -5’11 SF (Will Rogers HS) Oklahoma Swift 2023
Matlock is long and athletic and also one of the most improved players I saw over the season. Yes, I have always enjoyed watching her game but the stuff she added, simply elevated her stock. Her mid-range game was consistent, she also elevates on her jumper as well as around the basket but she also does a good job rebounding, defending, and blocking shots
Gracy Wernli Gracy Wernli 5'9" | SG Bixby | 2023 State OK -5’10 SG (Bixby HS) Team Griffin Elite 2023 Wernli
Wernli is one of the best shooters in Oklahoma, scratch that, the region and to be honest with you, I’ll go out on a limb and say one of the best in the country because I know where the bar has been set after doing this 20 years. She can catch and shoot, shoot off the dribble, stop and pop in transition and I’m just talking long ball but her midrange is solid as well
Bre Dudley Bre Dudley 5'7" | CG Central St. Joseph | 2023 State MO -5’8 PG (Central HS) KC Royalty Basketball 2023
Dudley left a lasting first impression because I love players that do things instinctively as well as players who react to certain situations so watching her drop not only buzzer-beaters but game-winners from BTA gave me an ETA on where she will land. Watching her play the passing lane, on the ball defense and solid BB-IQ all stood out as well
Rylee Verdun-6’0 PF (Dallas Thunder) Texas Platinum 2023 Bates
Verdun can do a variety of things, well, yet other than rebounding on both ends and showing nice timing to block shots, she also scored well around the basket, including after contact yet her finishes on putbacks with players hanging on her were impressive, so was her ability to stretch the defense with the mid to long-range
DaNae Crosby DaNae Crosby 5'6" | PG Braswell | 2024 State TX -5’7 PG (Braswell HS) Team Stay Ready 2023 [2024]
Crosby is one of the state’s most improved players and what I loved about her was “she never takes a play off” that in itself is some back in the day stuff so her applying heat on defense created turnovers galore and her scoring both off the dribble as well as the mid to long-range, legitimate pull-up jumper was a thrill to see
Taylor Spencer Taylor Spencer 5'8" | PG Cleveland | 2024 State TX -5’8 PG (Cleveland HS) Houston Lady Nets 2023 [2024]
Spencer left a lasting first impression right before The Circuit started and she stayed plugged in with her electrifying game. She reads the defense like an All-Pro cornerback, her “on the ball” defense was among the best I’ve seen all season, all events included but she creates her shot so well under pressure and knocks it down from, well wherever she wants
Jordyn Hernandez-6’0 SF (Burgess HS) New Mexico Select 2023 [2024]
Hernandez is long and athletic and one of the many players I’m adding to the Texas Top 100, Texas is huge, I hadn’t seen her yet her game is also huge as she does so many things that attract college coaches like she can SHOOT the ball standing at “the magic number” plus she can handle it in both the set or open court. Solid rebounder and defender, good shot blocker
Sania Jenkins -6’0 SG (Narrabeen Sports Academy) PLUTO Prospects [2024]
Jenkins gave me a quick 2 minutes when I caught her initially and I had to keep coming back. She has a deceptive first step, strides are long, well so is she and she’s athletic as I added a twist but she also has some shifty moves which enable her to get to the rim and her body control makes many of those finishes acrobatic. The jumper is also a problem, for defenders
Aziah Ferrier-6’1 PF ( Mount Pleasant HS) Team Lady Hoopsters [2025]
Ferrier had a slight growth spurt since the last time I saw her yet her game was viewed differently as she too will be added in a major way to the Top 100. She’s long and athletic, scores around the rim with either hand, and faces the basket to score, midrange included but her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect jet sets it off
KaMyra Barber KaMyra Barber 5'9" | PG Wichita Heights | 2025 State KS -5’9 PG (Sunrise Christian Academy) Kansas Bluejays 2023 [2025]
Barber is so smooth as she simply can take over a game offensively with a blink of an eye yet don’t blink as she does so many things that are just ahead of her years. The range is nice, she’s athletic and strong so her ability to “create and take” the defender off the dribble is also a treat but so is her defense and rebounding
SaMiyah Ellis SaMiyah Ellis 5'8" | PG Wichita Heights | 2025 State KS -5’8 PG (Sunrise Christian Academy) Kansas Bluejays 2023 [2025]
Ellis was one of the most explosive players I saw on The Circuit, I mean she goes HARD and leaves nothing on the table and after seeing her take a hard hit, I thought she was done yet she came back to help her team make a comeback and win. The first step, forget about it, open court, just get back, her speed with the ball, SWB, is something to see, so is that JUMPER
McKenzie Mathurin McKenzie Mathurin 5'10" | CG Broken Arrow | 2025 State OK – 5’10 PG (Broken Arrow HS) Oklahoma Swift 2024 Mathurin [2025]
Mathurin already has double-digit D1 offers yet her “poise under pressure” is something else. She plays the game on both ends and can take it over, on both ends. Mid to long-range, off the dribble, and seeing the floor, all get top marks but her defense inside or outside the paint, as well as her rebounding, are also more than solid
Tyra McKinnie-5’11 SF/PF (Glenpool MS) Team Griffin Elite Wernli 2025 [2026]
McKinnie was compared to a young Nneka Ogwumike when I first saw her catching everything that was thrown to her, errant or not plus she went after everything off the rim. Long and athletic, she runs the floor on both ends and I have seen her start the break with the outlet and beat everyone down to finish but her moves around the rim to score as well as attacking the basket from the wing secures her bright future
