We want to salute those who have a magnificent stroke from beyond the arc as well as in the midrange part of the game. Here are a few girls we saw this spring who can fill it up and also they are what you call SHOT MAKERS… We been to numerous events, watched some tape on kids in the circuit tournaments, but stats always tell the truth, here are the girls we believe are good shooter.
2024, 6’3, PF/C, Corssroads HS, Me’Arah O’Neal Me’Arah O’Neal 6'3" | C Crossroads | 2024 State CA – We watched this kid knock down three after three and she did from deep on the floor against some mighty good talent in our opinion. She has a nice body for the game, she is athletic, she can handle the rock and she is fierce on the floor, which is expected being the daughter of a super NBA center. She has a nice pull up game, she shot it from the midrange and she could catch and knock them down as well, this kid was nothing but net when it came to her shooting the rock. Do not get me wrong, her paint game is good as well, her hands are soft for the catch and finish under the rim, she was taught very well.
2024, 5’6, SG, Ontario Christian HS, Dejah Saldivar Dejah Saldivar 5'6" | SG Ontario Christian | 2024 State CA – Dejah has always been deemed a shooter, but she is really proving it from the high school season to now on the club circuit, she shoots the ball well. She is a catch and shoot player that can knock down the shot with a great stroke from deep outside, she can also catch and swing thru and pull up for a nice shot as well. She has good size for a shooting guard and uses it well, she can handle the rock, she can pass it as well, but her specialty is knocking down the long three with shot percentage of about 33%. Dangerous and lethal shooter on the court….
2024, 5’6, PG, St. Anthony HS, Jenessa Cotton Jenessa Cotton 6'2" | SF Mater Dei | 2024 State CA – We have always been a fan of Ryann since she was a young one playing with Cal Sparks, she is a proven point guard and she continues to strive and show that she is a top prospect in her class. We love her spirit and drive in the game, she is tough, she is smooth, she is athletic and quick, but we most love her leadership on the floor. She shoots and scores from all three levels on the floor and she is a fierce defender, but her three point game is solid and she is shooting it at a high clip in the spring sessions. We will see her shot improve each and every game we watch her play, this kid is a PLAYER…..
2024, 5’10, SF, Etiwanda HS, Destiny Agubata Destiny Agubata 5'10" | SF Etiwanda | 2024 State CA – Destiny is another shooter from Riverside county that is pretty lethal when it comes to knocking down threes, she is a good shooter at all three levels on the floor, but she is excelling as of late as a three point shooter. She is a dynamic forward that plays hard and is always ready to go at her opponent, she is a decent rebounder and she can set some mean screens if you know what I mean by that. We love her intensity on the floor, she is being named as a SHOTMAKER in the spring, her stats showed it on the EYBL circuit, best of luck to her in the Summer and Fall games.
