Check out Part 1 and Part 2 below, as well as additional coverage of the event!
Zariah Ervin (2023, F/c, Team Evolution United 2023, John Hay, OH)
Ervin showed a lot of upside as a post prospect. She was a physical rebounder that used her strong hands to corral the ball and protect it after the board. Ervin rebounds high and can finish an offensive board with a put back. She proved las weekend that will go toe to toe and wrestle away a rebound.
Charlene Gleason (2024, F, Central Illinois Xpress, Williamsville, IL)
The numbers didn’t tell the whole story for Gleason at the Victory Region Finals. She worked really hard in the paint with her back to the basket. When Gleason was fed the ball, she had a nice feel for if there was a scoring opportunity and if there wasn’t, she showed a nice kick out pass to the perimeter.
Uriah Jennings Uriah Jennings 5'8" | CG Mayfield Heights | 2023 State OH (2023, G, Team Evolution United 2023, Mayfield Heights, OH)
There was a lot to like about Jennings game at the event last weekend. She showed that she can pass on the move and still hit her targets. When swinging the ball, her passes come off with a zip. Jennings looked like a playmaker that was willing to mix it up underneath as well.
Mya Latham Mya Latham 5'5" | CG Eastlake North | 2023 OH (2023, G, Team Evolution United 2023, Eastlake North, OH)
Latham made her presence felt at the Victory Region Finals. She had the look of an explosive scorer that was especially comfortable working off the right side of the floor. Latham showed in the gym range on her jumper and did a nice job setting up shot ready for a kickout pass when her teammates drove to the rim.
Ava Rommel (2025, F, Harbor Impact 2025, St. Joseph, MI)
Rommel was very impressive against Illinois Hustle 2025 Black. She simply had a huge impact on the game. Rommel was active on the boards and she extended possessions by working the offensive glass. Rommel did a great job sealing her defender when teammates drove the lane. She brought energy and hustle to the floor all game long.
Keziah Toran (2025, G, Central Illinois Xpress 2023, Springfield, IL)
Toran was exciting to watch as she played with a fast pace. She liked to break off on a defensive rebound, get up the floor in a hurry and get out in transition. Toran was very aggressive on the offensive end and showed 3 point range on her jumper. She was also a plus rebounder on the wing.
