Vernon | 2025 State SD . Reagan has a big opportunity this upcoming season to produce as an overall playmaker. Reagan was already in the starting lineup for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton and has gained experience, so she’s ready for that next step. Look for Rus to become a more assertive scorer and see her scoring numbers and rebounding numbers take significant jumps. It could be the Emilee Fox Emilee Fox 5'8" | CG Mt.Vernon/Plankinton | 2024 State SD and Reagan Rus Reagan Rus 5'9" | SG Mt. Vernon | 2025 State SD show, so be ready.
Brynlee Landis Brynlee Landis 5'6" | CG Colman-Egan | 2026 State SD – 5’6 G 2026 – Colman-Egan – The 2026 prospect already has varsity starting experience and Colman-Egan graduates a big-time scorer in Hemmer. Brynlee is a smooth and overall talented guard that will be one to know and follow in the coming years. She has all the necessary skills to take that next step. She can handle the ball, shoot the three, etc. I don’t predict her scoring 20+ points per night, but she should see a steady up-tick in production.
Brandy Pulse Brandy Pulse 5'8" | SG McCook Central/Montrose | 2023 State SD – 5’8 G 2023 – McCook Central/Montrose – Wobig, one of the best scorers in the state is off to play college ball at Northwestern in Iowa. There will be an opportunity for Brandy to take charge in her final high school season. Brandy is extremely long for a 5’8 guard, and has a solid skill-set and can play lock-down defense. Pulse should be the go-to scorer for her team and see a steady climb in overall production and difference-making on the court.
Madala Hanson Madala Hanson 5'4" | PG Dell Rapids St. Mary's | 2025 State SD – 5’4 PG 2025 – Dell Rapids St. Mary – St. Mary loses a few key starters to graduation. Hanson is already a major three-point threat, but she could take it to the next level. Already aggressive from three, Madala will have the green-light from deep and she won’t shy away from letting them fly. The 5’4 guard is one of the quickest players in the state and has no issues getting her shot off. She’ll be one of the top three-point makers in the state.
Tyann Mortenson Tyann Mortenson 5'10" | PF Faith | 2025 State SD – 5’11 F/C 2025 – Faith – TyAnn was mentioned by her performance in the state tournament, and look for her to continue that and then-some in her Sophomore season. She should put up some impressive scoring and rebounding numbers, as the go-to inside presence for Faith.
Shelbie Olseth Shelbie Olseth 5'6" | SG Canton | 2025 State SD – 5’6 G 2025 – Canton – Canton is a very young team, so there’s not a hole due to graduation, but I just believe that Shelbie takes another leap forward in her Sophomore season. She was already a starter this past season and scored 11 ppg., but as she matures as a player and physically, she should see some good improvement from year-to-year. Look for her to improve her offensive efficiency and see the results.
