The Houston Summer Slam as well as TJ Showcase and the All Eyez On Me Individual Showcase gave me very good luck at the talent from the area and what’s coming up from middle school. I’ve already locked MaRiyah Alfred in at D1, she is heading to the 8th grade and the 2027 star was on PART 2, so here ya go
Emilee Totino (SETX White) 2024
Totino will give me another look at today’s event and after an impressive ASll Eyez On Me, she showed me she could do a whole lot, like drop the jumper in transition, score off the dribble, and play the passing lane, yes I’m excited to get another good look at her this morning at the event
Kelsyn Bruce (SETX White) 2026
Bruce showed me the pull-up jumper from mid to long-range however she showed me something else very important. She wants the last shot and she can deliver and her game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer was just awesome
Allie Williams (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Williams also was a show-stopper at All Eyez On Me, she was under the weather at the Houston Summer Slam yet she put on a show, dazzling me with her ballhandling and spins as well as OTM passes, “on t
Emma Miller (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Miller also showed she could spin in traffic plus she scored off the dribble and did a good job handling the ball under pressure. Her jumper was smooth, she saw the floor and made the right pass at the right time
Kenedi Griffin (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Griffin is athletic and she understands how to use it to her advantage. She is “on the ball” defensively, baseline to baseline yet she also does a good job attacking the basket as well as rebounding. The midrange is solid, and so is her upside
Keri’Ana Williams (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Williams has a unique nickname, SHAQ, and her ability, well DESIRE to rebound at this stage is scary. She’s strong and powerful, plus she goes after everything off the rim, you can’t teach that. She also uses her body well around the basket to finish, after contact
Makalan Foster (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Foster can GRANT whatever she wants as she showed an impressive pull-up jumper from mid-range, that’s a lost art, and mastering it will attract the next-level people. She also drops the long ball, scores off the dribble, and sees the floor well
Janiayah Anderson (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Anderson rebounds fiercely, here’s that DESIRE word again and when you have that “you won’t outwork me” mindset, you’re ahead of the game. I also enjoyed her scoring around the basket as well as on putbacks, after contact, with either hand
Naomi Washington (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Washington is an athletic guard that brings “it” baseline to baseline. She did a good job defending her man, she also showed she could handle the ball in the open court under pressure as well as see the floor yet she attacked and finished strongly too
Arianna Brown (Cy Fair SETX 2026)
Brown has some very good upside because she understands some very important things, like positioning and that enables her to rebound on both ends against taller players. She plays within herself and does things that may not show up on a stat sheet
Serenah Coleman (Cy Fair SETX 2027)
Coleman was impressive at both the All Eyez On Me Individual Showcase as well as in the Championship game in her division at TJ Showcase. She makes next-level passes right now, she isn’t even in high school, and with her scary upside to go with her scary fakes, she is going to create some problems for defenders. She creates her shot, drops it from mid to long-range, and scores acrobatically off the dribble after contact
