I want to extend a big thank you to UMary and Rick Neumann for having me out there and as well as the girls, it was a great event!
I walked in the Gym and was immediately drawn to the amount of girls at the camp, and the skill that was on the court. These are the ones that caught my eye, let’s get to it.
Harys Beauchamp Harys Beauchamp 6'0" | PF Beulah | 2023 State ND : 2023 Beulah High School
This young lady caught my eye immediately, one of the first things I said was “Wow””. She’s tall (6’1’’) if not another half-inch or more in my opinion, and moves very well for her size. For her size she handles the ball well, and isn’t afraid to use her size/strength to drive the lane. I loved how well she used her left hand, and she for sure proved she can finish in transition. She is impressive and had an excellent day at camp.
Emerson Johnson Emerson Johnson 5'7" | SG Wyndmere/Lidgerwood | 2025 State ND : 2025 Wyndmere High School
Emerson has tons of talent in her bag. She has a quick release to her shot and a very good Basketball IQ. She really stood out to me as one that “knows the game” and is aware of what is going on. I liked how well she attacked the hoop, and could knock down shots in transition. She has a ton of good qualities to her game and is someone I can see doing big things in her Basketball career.
Cora Metcalf: 2026 Fargo Sheyenne High School
Another Metcalf that will leave her mark at West Fargo Sheyenne for sure caught my eye. She has size, footwork and is 100% athletic. I would say she is a solid 6’2-6’3 and she knows how to use her size to score and muscle down the rebounds. She is young, but with her abilities there is no doubt she will be a key player for West Fargo Sheyenne. Keep an eye on this one, she is loaded with talent.
Ziah Greybull: 2025 Century High School
A New Transfer from Idaho but a player who knows the game very well. She is on the roster for “Tree of Hope EYBL 17U” and there is a good reason why, she is a baller. Ziah has a great Basketball IQ and is very shifty with her moves, not only that but she can handle the ball very skillfully. Not only that she moves very well on defense and is flat out tough. Adding her to the roster for Century will be huge for them, this girl has game and will be one to keep an eye on in the WDA. Did I mention she’s left handed?…which is real fun to watch.
