The Orlando Splash was held July 20-22 and was loaded with talent from the state of Florida. While there was a number of talented players, here is our starting five in the class of 2025 from the Orlando Splash event!
Starting Five:
Olivia Olson Olivia Olson 5'10" | SF Mainland | 2025 State FL 5’9 Guard (DME 2023)
Olson was a new face for me, playing the starting PG for DME 2023 squad and playing up two years as a 2025. Olson is a big guard who can play with the ball in her hands and without it. She is a savvy playmaker who can handle the ball, create her own shot, and create shots for others. She played a large amount of minutes as the primary ball handler for DME and was extremely efficient, shooting a high percentage, while having a great assist to turnover ratio.
Hollins Harris 6’1 Wing / Forward (FGB LW 15U UAA)
Harris was a new face for me and she immediately got my attention. She is a versatile wing / forward with great length. She did a good job using her size to rebound the ball well from the perimeter. She had a balanced offensive floor game playing inside and out. She has a huge upside and we look forward to following her over the next 3 years!
Jim’Myah Branton Jim’Myah Branton 5'7" | SG SLAM! (Miami) | 2025 State FL (Miami Suns Kiki EYBL 15U)
Branton is someone that we have been following for several years now and she consistently has “WOW” moments where your jaw drops and you ask yourself, “did she really just do that?” Playing both the PG and SG position, Branton attacked the basket both in the open court and in the half court, contorting her body around the rim and finishing in a variety of ways often high up at the rim! She is a high energy, aggressive two-way player who turns offense to defense and is on go mode at all times!
Jaida Civil Jaida Civil 5'11" | PG Palm Bay | 2025 State FL 5’11 Wing (East Coast United Family 2023)
Civil was the top athletes at the event regardless of class. Playing in multiple divisions, Civil has a unique combination of height, length, and athleticism. After seeing her several times jump into passing lanes and steal the ball to go in for an uncontested layup in the open court, she eventually had a jaw dropping moment where she tried to throw it down on the main court showcasing her incredible athleticism and leaping ability!
Trishay Collins Trishay Collins 6'2" | C Heritage HS | 2025 State FL 6’1 Forward / Center (East Coast United Family 2025)
Collins stood out as the top 2025 post players at the event. At 6’1 she had great size and great mobility. She was an effective shot blocker, rebounder, and finished well around the rim. With post players in high demand, look for Collins to be a hot prospect amongst college coaches. Her rare combination of size, athleticism, and offensive efficiency give her major upside!
Coming Off the Bench:
Sydney Wilson Sydney Wilson 4'11" | SG Miami Senior HS | 2025 State FL (Miami Suns South Mompremier 17U)
Asya Barnes (DME 2023)
Dianka Hardisson Dianka Hardisson 5'5" | PG Somerset Academy Silver Palms | 2025 State FL (Florida Lady Huskies)
Uriah Rossario (Blue Star Orlando 2025)
Abigail Knauff (East Coast United Family 2024)
Riley Stoker Riley Stoker 6'0" | PG Somerset Prep North Lauderdale | 2025 State FL (GT Queens 2024)
Brianna Brown Brianna Brown 5'11" | SG Somerset Prep North Lauderdale | 2025 State FL (GT Queens 2024)
Jayden Terry Jayden Terry 5'8" | CG GHS - Gainesville | 2025 State FL (East Coast United Family 2025)
Sariah Johnson Sariah Johnson 5'9" | SF Dr.Phillips | 2025 State FL (J Sizzle 2025)
Sam Bautista (Miami Suns Kiki EYBL 15U)
Jade Jones Jade Jones 5'11" | SF King's Academy | 2025 State FL (Miami Suns Kiki EYBL 15U)
