Kylie Marshall Kylie Marshall 5'9" | CG Mansfield Lake Ridge | 2023 State TX -6’2 PF (Team Lex Nation 17U3SSB) |2023|
Marshall was simply unstoppable as she scored, well however she wanted. She’s long and athletic, remember that is the base and she elevates over defenders either off the dribble to score or rebounding and scoring on putbacks, yes she rebounds on both ends. She also showed the pull-up, it too was clicking, mid to long-range, and factor in she plays the passing lane and can handle the ball after
Emillia Steele Emillia Steele 5'11" | SF Colleyville Heritage | 2023 State TX -5’10 SF (HG Elite 17U S40) |2023|
Steele is “The Woman Of Steele” as she continuously has shown she can get it done. Whether it’s overpowering defenders in the paint and finishing after contact, or dropping the outside jumper yet her DESIRE to go after rebounds needs to be mentioned, it’s something you can’t teach. She defends, on the ball or inside the paint, she handles the ball and sees the floor
Londyn Oliphant Londyn Oliphant 5'6" | PG Sachse | 2024 State TX -5’6 PG (Fam Premier 16U 3SSB) |2024|
Oliphant told me a couple of years ago that she just wanted to get better and that’s saying a lot since I called her a @D1Lock way before she entered high school. She is one of the most aggressive and explosive guards in Texas, in any class yet she may not be in a class by herself but it doesn’t take long to call the roll. She defends like there is no tomorrow, she attacks the basket relentlessly, she drops jumpers galore and her court vision is more than solid
Hillary Dawson-6’3 C (Team Lex Prime 16U 3SSB) |2025|
Dawson definitely was up the creek with a paddle as she showed she could punish defenders in a number of ways starting with her being long and athletic, still, the base and her strides to get by and then jump over defenders to score were nice. I loved the midrange and the turnaround jumper, her wingspan gives her a huge advantage but she plays the passing lane and blocked, altered, or deflected numerous shots
Brooklyn Stewart Brooklyn Stewart 6'2" | SF Pine Creek | 2025 State CO -6’2 SF (Hardwood Elite 16U 3SSB) |2025|
Stewart is also long and athletic, maybe I should have done a Tip Sheet on just that but here’s a tip, yeah she scores off the dribble but she can handle the ball well under pressure, and at her size when you factor in that she “saw the floor” very well, what else. She dropped the jumper, she had good timing to block shots, and she played the passing lane and rebounded on both ends
Cherish Haywood-6’0 PF (Lady Jets Elite 16U (Lewis) |2025|
Haywood did a good job using her body, on both ends of the court. She rebounded, got the break going, and ran the floor, and on the flip, she rebounded and scored on putbacks but her positioning around the basket was nice, and so was her showing she could mix it up and score off the dribble. She did a good job on the interior defending and showed she could step out of the paint and guard her man
