Arguably one of the most physical presence in the post in the 2023 class. Has good size and athleticism, she is a physical rebounder who gets off the floor fast on put-backs. A throwback power forward who has gone head to head with some of the top bigs in the in the country during her high school season. Game is still raw but has all the tools are there, good shot blocker that can finish with either hand around the basket. With one more year of a tough high school season left Melissa will have a bigger role and carry the load for S3 Academy.
You can call her sneaky good, sneaky athletic and very effective! Long tall frame that can hit the mid-range jumper and three-pointer as well. Arguably the most important role player on a talented WV Thunder UAA team. Down the stretch Keslyn was never over whelmed by the big stage and seemed to always be out on the floor in crunch time! She step in a played some key and big minutes against a super athletic FBC United team in the championship game off the bench. With two soild offers under her belt Keslyn will look to lead Pulaski to a state title run!
Nyla is a good example when it pays off to play a tough high school schedule along with AAU! Was not on Elevate Elite’s top team but Nyla is an under the radar top talent in that program! Always known for shot blocking and rebounding, she was the key inside force for her 17U gold team. Showing that she can be a more consistent scorer on the block with her back to the basket. Good athletic ability with long arms and can run the floor well her stock should continue during high school evaluation period.
Very intense high motor player that will cover the entire floor! Hard nose player that seem to never get tired an gives 110% of effort when playing. Great size for a guard/wing and has did a great job of added to her offensive game as well. Strong slasher and very physical, the mid-range and three-point shot has shown to be more consistent. Madeline had a good and productive summer just recently committed to Umass Lowell!
Highlights
Talk about putting g in the work! Lyndsey has a lunch pale approach with her game and leadership. A very crafty veteran player that knowns how to play versus an more athletic player. During UAA she was very productive at all there levels on the court. One game she had a neck injury with her team up 10. The lead vanished while she was out the game, she shook the injury off and finished the game and her team won by double digits. Gutsy basketball player and there is no stat for that!
