McGee is going to provide leadership for this this new Blazers team this season. Kingstree HS and C.E. Murray HS merged starting this year into the newly formed Blazers.
Takiyah really likes to set up shop in the corners at times for her shots. She’s looking to score it whenever she can while on the floor. She will be very instrumental in the progress of this program this season under Head Coach James Price.
Richardson is back for another season with the Bears and new Head Coach Logan Kingsbury.
Richardson will provide leadership from the backcourt and will look to be the leader from out top. She will have plenty of talent around her this season in the Class 1A ranks.
Jerchel has really good footwork to get things done around the paint. She does a good job of keeping the ball up when she rebounds it. Geathers will look to carve out space and move defenders around on the block. She does a good job of posting up and playing with her back to the basket.
Jerchel plays multiple sports for the Lady Bears. She averaged 13.4 ppg and 10.8 rebounds last season after coming over from nearby Georgetown HS.
Highlights

What kind of season will the Lady Warriors have this coming season?
Dukes runs the show for the newly formed Blazers. Makayla is a very vocal leader on the floor from the point guard position. Can the Blazers make some noise this season?
Jenkins played the past few seasons on the varsity level for the Myrtle Beach Lady Seahawks. Jasmyn now a Lady Bear will get plenty of playing time on this roster. Jenkins a left-handed guard played this past Grassroots season on the Circuit with Upward Stars 3SSB 2025.
Graham plays off the ball and really wants to shoot it when she receives it. D’Essence feels most comfortable playing at shooting guard. She is a bit of streaky shooter at times.
Coachman is a RAW talent for the Lady Jaguars. Shaniya plays the game extremely hard and isn’t afraid to get physical at times. She plays the game with a good deal of passion.
Draughn is just entering the 9th grade and that’s scary. Teonna can create her own shot at will and score the ball in hurry all night long. She really plays off the grid and barely as much of a roster to play with – meaning number of girls on the team.
Teonna can hold her own every time we have seen her play over the years. She gets the ball into the gaps and paint and finishes drives with both hands.
Where would she rank if we put the 2026 Palmetto State Class out today? Not so fast we never rank the freshman class until after the high school is complete.
Naydia left a nice impression on Prep Girls Hoops earlier this month in Florence. She plays the game with a lot of grit and a bit of attitude already for her young age. Shaw moves well around the court and don’t mind posting up or putting the ball on the deck while driving it.
Naydia Shaw Naydia Shaw 6’0″ | PF Kingstree | 2027 State SC is a name you will hear a lot of moving down the road from the Class of 2027.
