Poland is a stretch big who can run the floor, and also play in the half court. She is a good decision maker, and looks to score in transition off a rebound. She has a soft touch around the rim. A versatile player, who has high energy, and can create her own shot.
Addison has a motor that doesn’t stop. She is great In transition. Multiple times in the showcase I saw her grab a rebound and take it coast to coast for a layup. She has really improved her three point shooting. Addison is not the biggest player on the floor, but always one of the hardest working players. She is tough, and very active on defense and forces turnovers that help lead to offense. She has had many big scoring games, but can also get her teammates involved as well.
Highlights
Jenava is a pass first 6-0 Guard. She has the built for the next level already. She is a very good passer from the high and low post and from the perimeter. She made many great reads on the defense in the showcase, leading to open shots for teammates She impacts the game in many ways. Although she is pass first, she can also shoot the three, score off the dribble, or post up. She is an athletic player, with good length for her position. I expect you to hear about her this winter at Dexter.
Callie has the built and frame to play at the next level. She has a good skill set to match her size. She can move well, run the floor and uses her length to her advantage. She can handle the ball in the open court, attack the basket, and also post up. She has a good mix of an inside and out game and is a true two way player on both sides of the floor. She has good hands, and knows how to control her body. In the showcase she had many nice finishes through contact. Callie stood out to me as a player who could be an instant impact at the high school level.
Ciara brings an energy spark to her team every time she is on the floor. She is a gritty Point Guard, and a three level scorer. She likes to attack down hill, and has a very quick first step. She has a variety of moves to get to the rim, and is very effective playing at multiple speeds. In the showcase she had tough finishes at the rim, and looks poised running the point. Definitely a player who could be a instant impact at the varsity level.
