At roughly 6’1, Serlen was a consistent double double threat all season and showed no signs of slowing down throughout the summer. Through her sophomore season at Standley Lake, with a team high 19.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 5 stocks (steals + blocks) per game while contributing 51% of two pointers. Serlen gets a significant portion of points from offensive rebounds and those subsequent putbacks. Although, she is capable operating out of the mid or low-post, proving to score versus contact with the right hand. Her defensive impact cannot go unnoticed either, where she is constantly roaming in passing lanes to swipe risky passes away. I look forward to tracking her usage with the left hand and potential as a kick out passer. Serlen currently ranks 7th overall in the 2024 class and 3rd among power forwards.
Allison Schwertner Allison Schwertner 6'3" | SF Mullen | 2024 State CO – Mullen – 2024
The combo forward already proved herself as versatile defender at varsity level, causing trouble both on the perimeter and interior. Standing right around 6’3, she is a dangerous help side defender who stays active blocking shot attempts. Posting eight games with 2+ steals and four games with 2+ blocked shots. Schwertner posted 7.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while contributing 44% of her two-point attempts. One x-factor for her will be her overall shooting efficiency from beyond the arc, making 24% of her 51 attempts. Schwertner ranks 11th in the class and 5th among power forwards.
Addicyn Kessinger Addicyn Kessinger 6'0" | SF Akron | 2024 State CO – Akron – 2024
Kessinger has been a steady double double threat since joining the varsity squad over at Akron. This past season, the forward posted 20.1 points, 11.5 rebounds, and four stocks per game while contributing 45% of her two pointers and 30% of her three-point attempts. What stands out with Kessinger is her attention to detail, always staying active on loose balls or risky passes by the opponents. Her potential as a shooter off the catch is another area of intrigue, given her high rate of production. Kessinger currently ranks 10th in the 2024 class and 3rd among small forwards.
Gabriella Cunningham Gabriella Cunningham 5'8" | SG Grandview | 2024 State CO – Grandview – 2024
Cunningham brings high upside driving ability due to her quick first step and noticeably fast acceleration to the rim. Within transition, Cunningham is capable getting out on the break much quicker than her opponents. At 5’8, she has versatility as a perimeter defender versus opposing guards. One area of intrigue with Cunningham resides with her volume of off-ball movement, given her quick first step to beat opponents on backdoors. The small forward currently sits at 13th overall and 4th among small forwards in the 2024 class.
Olivia Loveland Olivia Loveland 5'8" | SF Castle View | 2024 State CO – Castle View – 2024
Loveland has been a consistent scoring threat throughout the summer, thanks her budding jump shot both off the bounce and movement. At roughly 5’8, Loveland already has shown improvements in her decision making as a passer both in the full court and half court. As of now, Loveland sits at 32nd overall and 6th among small forwards.
