Cammie Grayson (Russellville): A 5’7″ guard with excellent fundamentals offensively as she can play just as effectively without the basketball as she can with the ball in her hands. I saw her at the Hickman Shootout in June and she was impressive with her ability to score at all three levels. She reads defenses well to make the right cut and come off the screen ready to shoot. She is strong off the dribble and she can get to her desired spots on the floor to hit a jumper.
Kristen Jones Kristen Jones 5'7" | PG Hallsville | 2023 State MO (Hallsville): A talented 5’7″ guard who has an excellent offensive package and an all-around nice feel for the game. She creates well off the dribble with a variety of escape moves to get off her shots. She has the side-step, the step-back and she uses ball fakes well to set up her very accurate 3-point shooting. She has nice handles as she can slice into the lane to get buckets. Her court vision is also very good as she will find the open teammate anywhere on the court. She is constantly looking upcourt to advance the ball.
Katie McKinney (Otterville): The 5’7″ guard is a Class 1 standout who has the ability to score on the perimeter while also being strong enough to get buckets in the lane. She can play aggressive inside and she has good footwork to operate inside while being able to score with either hand. Her 3-point shooting is pure as she can shoot it off the catch or dribble up and hit the pull up from long distance. She also has good instincts and anticipation of the defensive end as she can play the passing lanes very well.
Jozelynn Bostick Jozelynn Bostick 5'8" | PG Centralia | 2023 MO (Centralia): An excellent all-around 5’8″ athlete who also plays softball and runs a little track in addition to her exploits on the basketball court. She puts that athleticism to good use as very good at attacking the basket and scoring on slashing drives. She can also get buckets on floaters and runners in the lane and she can do it with either hand. She can stop and pop from the middle area while also being able to knock down the open 3-pointer. She can also be tenacious on the defensive end with her on-ball pressure.
Emmarie Graham Emmarie Graham 5'5" | PG Jefferson City | 2023 State MO (Jefferson City): A 5’5″ point guard who has quickness and speed and good floor leadership at both ends of the court. Her instincts are excellent on the defensive end as she is very disruptive with her quickness and anticipation. She can apply on-ball pressure or be quick to get into position to help a teammate or create a steal. On offense, she is good in the open court and tough for defenders to keep her in front of them with her speed.
Haley Henderson Haley Henderson 5'7" | CG Eldon | 2023 State MO (Eldon): A 5’8″ guard who excels in just about every facet of the game, which is a testament to her versatility and high basketball IQ. What really stands out is her perimeter shooting. She can really light it up from long distance. She moves well without the ball and does her work to get herself open and shot ready before she catches the ball. She’s also a solid ball handler with good playmaking skills. She rebounds well from the guard position and she’s very adept at shooting into the passing lanes to get steals.
Sara Angel (Community): A talented offensive player who has a good feel for the game and the ability to score at all three levels. I saw her at the recent Battle for the Arch event and thought this is a real hidden gem. She has crafty ways to get buckets when she gets into the lane and hit runners and floaters and flip up shots at different angles. She can hit the pull up jumper and she has good 3-point range.
