Continue Reading(Up from No. 12) Lewis looked very good this summer, quick to balls and scoring all over the floor. Sara has great length and a consistent motor. She’s a good rebounder and has the ability to help defend both inside and out. Her three-point shot is a real weapon, especially from the corners. Lewis is a well-rounded player on both ends of the floor. The high academic standout should flirt with 20 points per game this season after netting 14.1 as a junior and 17.7 as a sophomore. Committed to George Washington this summer.
(Up from No. 15) The breakout stretch that I’ve been predicting for over a year now has finally come to fruition as Moore vacuumed up nine D-I offers by the end of July. Moore’s ceiling is one of the highest in the class with her length, athleticism and scoring touch. When Brooke is aggressive, she’s the best player on the floor 9 times out of 10.
(Up from No. 32) Quick and agile, Fields is a talented playmaker that can also score from all three levels. She can be a menace defensively with her lateral movement. Kailyn is a key piece to one of the most talented backcourts in the state. Schools of multiple levels have been tracking her closely.
Highlights
(Up from No. 30) Georgia College landed possibly their biggest get of the Ross Jolly era in Hannah Cail Hannah Cail 5’7″ | PG Calvary Day | 2023 State GA , a shifty playmaker with a knockdown jumper. Cail flew under the radar in Savannah but has been an All-State player each of the past two seasons. Hannah has improved her ability to create off the dribble and her speed downhill since when I first saw her. Cail averaged 20.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.3 steals as a junior, while hitting 88-256 (34%) threes. Hannah is the best player in Savannah.
(Up from No. 57) Anna Vereen Anna Vereen 6’1″ | PF Sprayberry | 2023 State GA is crawling up recruiting boards, now out of the shadows cast by Flau’jae Johnson. While Vereen can’t score like the All-American could, she’s an impact maker defensively with her length, athleticism and motor. Vereen rim runs well and is a nightmare to keep off the glass. She picked up offers from Army and Delaware and earned a Colgate bid back in March.
(Up from No. 49) The state champ verbally committed to her dream school of North Georgia earlier in the offseason. Pierce will be a plug-and-play guard sooner rather than later with her three-point shooting and decision making. Lexi averaged 12.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.6 steals while shooting 37% from three.
