Wilson (cover picture) might have been the MVP of the entire Showcase. Wilson can play 4 offensive positions and definitely has the bulk to defend 4 positions. She is one complete basketball player who has an impressive game all around. She has great handles, a lot of shiftiness to her game, and can flat-out score the ball. Wilson is a player who can take over a game, especially in crucial moments. At the Southeast Showcase, in every game that went to overtime or came down to a crucial shot, Wilson was the one who converted it. She was a standout at the showcase and she is poised to have a great Senior season.

Merceron was really impressive at the Showcase. Merceron runs on the floor with a smooth stride and looks like she gliding on the floor. She can really score the ball on the inside and on the outside. She is a very smart player who can score on the inside or the outside. In the paint, she knows how to get a defender moving with head fakes and good footwork. On the outside, she can catch and shoot, shoot runners, and can create her own shot. she is a very good shooter from all levels, including behind the three-point line. She does a good job of handling the ball and she really puts pressure on a defense to get back in transition. Merceron can score on the inside with good footwork, knock down the three, and score in the midrange. Merceron has a nice float game as well. She handles the ball well and plays with great speed. Jazmine Major Jazmine Major 5'5" | CG Palm Bay Magnet | 2023 State FL / 2023 / 5’5 PG / Palm Bay
Major brought the “A- Game” to the showcase. She really handled the ball well and played the point guard position very well. Major does a good job of balancing ball distribution and looking for her own shot. When she did shoot the ball, she shot it accurately from every level on the court. She shot the three well and attacked the paint at other times. She has a quick burst that makes defenders respect her ability to drive. She shot some nice midrange shots as a result. Major also had some nice shots in transition. One that comes to mind was a coast-to-coast journey that ended with a left-handed finish. I was standing by one of the many coaches in the building and we just looked at each other. Major applied that pressure all day long on both ends of the court. She also was a playmaker during the showcase and got other players involved. Defensively, she showcased her on-ball skills. In addition to her on the court play, she is a natural leader and very coachable.
Bryanna Griffiths / 2023 / 5’11 PF / Port Charlotte
Griffiths was one of the best shooters in the building. She hit one shot from near halfcourt and showcased her accuracy from long range. She was in the zone during the showcase and definitely finished in double digits from behind the arc. She was strong off of the catch and shoot and just as strong shooting off the dribble. Griffith has good size at 5’11 and a solid frame. She was strong and versatile enough to mix it up on the inside and get baskets.
