The profile “long and athletic” is one of the most recruited profiles and here are some of the talented players from the event
Kyzarriah Fox Kyzarriah Fox 6'0" | SF Antonian Prep | 2027 State TX
Fox as in “sly ag a” because I watch her watch the court and her anticipation is ahead of her years, I’ve seen that in numerous settings so that’s a huge plus. She plays the passing lane well and handles the ball in the open court after the steal yet watching her attack the rim and finish afterward is very nice and will get even better because she can elevate over defenders and finish after contact. Her HEZ off the dribble is smooth, she has good timing and blocks shots and she rebounds on both ends
Kayden Heberie
Heberie mixed it up on the offensive end nicely, her first step is hard to deal with so watching her attack multiple ways and finish strongly after contact is more than solid. She has a nice frame and understands how to use her strength around the rim. Her pull-up jumper was consistent yet let me drop #THROWBACK because she “follows her shot” which has become a lost art. Factor in she has good timing and blocked some shots and also grabbed some rebounds
Faith Etienne
Every time I see her I tell her “you gotta have FAITH” and when I first caught her a couple of seasons ago, I loved her upside as well as poise and I think the Tip Sheet was titled something like The Babies which she didn’t like. Well her progression continues and when you factor in her “scary upside” I get the feeling that she’s going to terrorize defenders. Her jumper is nice, the shot is fluid, the form is correct and more importantly, she knocks it down but she also slices to the rim and finishes
Kaelyn Blanchard
Blanchard has some scary timing and she reacts so quickly on defense, not to leave out her doing things instinctively, like “playing the passing lane” and all of that, combined with her upside, she is going to be in the mix. She scores well off the dribble, she understands how to “set the defender up” to attack and she finishes strongly yet to keep the defender honest, she drops the jumper from multiple spots.
Pfeiffer Greene
Greene means GO and the first time I caught her in the open court with the ball, I was impressed. was even more impressed when I found out she was in the 7th grade playing against high school ballers, which falls perfectly into what I said in the opening paragraph about “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do t against”. She did a good job attacking the basket and her COP, which is “change of pace”, in the open court was very nice. She showed the pull-up jumper and did a good job defending and rebounding
