Lucy Leininger Lucy Leininger 5'11" | PF Germantown | 2024 State WI – 5’10 G – Germantown
On a team that is stacked with talent, Lucy was still able to carve a name out for herself as a sophomore. She earned second team all conference honors and this was partly due to her great defensive skills. She averaged 3.4 steals per game and 3 blocks per game with a total of 96 and 87 each. Her ability to steal and block is top tier for a guard and makes her a tough match up for whoever is looking to score on her. Look for her to improve on her defensive numbers this year and continue to lock down the perimeter.
Kennedee Clark – 5’11 F/G – Racine St. Catherine’s
Coming off of a season in which she earned honorable mention all-conference, Kennedee was a bright spot on a team that desperately needed one. She led her team by a mile in blocks with 3.8 per game and was also second in steals with 1.8. She also recorded 10.6 rebounds per game which also led her team. Kennedee will only look to improve on all of her defensive stats this upcoming season and she will be the one looked at to guard the best players on the opposing team. Racine St. Catherine’s is hoping to have a much better season and Kennedee will be the one who is looked at to do so. Look for her to make a name for herself this upcoming season.
Madilyn Dogs Madilyn Dogs 6'0" | CG Kewaskum | 2023 State WI – 6’0 CG – Kewaskum
As her last name suggests Madilyn is a dog on the court. The ball is never safe in the offenses hands as she is great at taking it away. She averaged 4 steals per game along with 1.5 blocks per game which were both top three in the conference. She also averaged 7.2 rebounds per a game as a guard. Her size makes her a tough match up at the perimeter and her length makes her great at slapping the ball away. Her junior campaign ended with a unanimous first team all-conference honor and her senior campaign may very well end with a player of the year award. Expect all of her numbers to go up and for her to be one of the best defenders in the Milwaukee area.
Julia Kellner Julia Kellner 6'3" | C Racine Lutheran | 2025 State WI – 6’2 F – Racine Lutheran
After earning honorable mention all-conference as a freshman and leading the conference in rebounds with 13.1, the only place for her to go is up. She averaged 1.2 steals per game and 1.4 blocks per game but look for those numbers to only go up. She is already a towering figure on the floor as a she stands at 6’2 and will only get better as time goes on. Look for her blocks to shoot up this year along with a few more steals. Once Julia reaches her full potential there’s no telling how much terror she will inflict on opposing offenses.
Teagan Koutsky – 5’5 G – Palmyra-Eagle
Teagan is coming off of a season in which she earned second team all-conference honors and led the conference in steals as a freshman. She averaged a whopping 6.2 steals per game. Her 5’5 frame allows for her to take the ball from a player without them even realizing it. She is a pick-pocketing master and the number of steals she gets will only go up as she continues her basketball career. She averaged less than a block per game but that is to be expected from a 5’5 guard. Her blocks should go up this upcoming season but watch for her to make some noise in the Milwaukee area with the amount of steals she will be getting.
