Continue ReadingNo. 1 – Close to 6-foot-3, Janaye Walker Janaye Walker 6’2″ | C Baldwin | 2025 State GA is a mountain inside, one that Power 5 schools are tracking closely. Walker posted 11.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1.6 blocks per game as a freshman. Walker is physical downlow, sealing deep in the paint and catching lobs to finish overtop the defense. She’s a double-double threat nightly with a polished offensive game.
No. 2 – D-II programs are hot after the All-State forward that averaged 17.8 points. 9.5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1.4 blocks. Emener is a load to handle inside with her strength and wide shoulders. She has soft hands, able to vacuum up rebounds in traffic. When she puts a body one someone, she gets great position. Her outside shot gives her intriguing upside. She connected on 32% of her threes.

No. 3 – Gabby Minus has great fanfare surrounding her as she may be the best player to come out of Middle Georgia in years. Xavier has already offered. At 6-foot-1, Minus has the mobility and skill to play both inside and out. Playing 15U on the 3SSB circuit, Minus averaged 9.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. Her arrival at Veterans will make the Warhawks a sneaky talented team that could make a monster leap this year.
No. 4 – The Class 2A Freshman of the Year has great size and a mature frame. Lyric has strength in the paint and can take over games inside with her scoring and defense. She averaged 16.5 points and 9.3 rebounds. She has a chance to develop into one of the best bigs in Georgia.
No. 5 – Seaton has always impressed me with her effort and toughness. Des’Teyn has a habit of playing bigger than her size. The Veterans transfer averaged 13.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.6 steals as a sophomore at Northside-Warner Robins.
No. 6 – Hidden away in the GIAA, Allie Osborne Allie Osborne 5’11” | PF John Milledge Academy | 2024 State GA is an interesting prospect that will fly under the radar. The lefty has good size and can play inside and out. Her outside shot is a weapon. She averaged 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks.
