We released an updated rankings for the class of 2024 last week. Here is a look at some of the biggest movers inside the top 30 for the class of 2024!
Eris Lester Eris Lester 5'10" | SF Montverde Academy | 2024 State FL (Orange Park / Miami Suns) – 5’10 Wing

Lester makes a big jump up 5 spots all the way up to # 4 in the class of 2024. Lester was a new face to the exposure scene this spring/summer joining the Miami Suns and bursting onto the scene putting her extreme athleticism on display on the EYBL circuit. She followed up a huge spring/summer with the Suns with a couple of late summer and fall individual showcases including the John Lucas camp in Texas where she tested out # 1 overall in the combine testing. The combination of her elite athleticism, excellent length and height along with a solid skill set makes her a major stock riser and major D1 college prospect.
Lexi Blue Lexi Blue 6'1" | SF Lake Highland Prep | 2024 State FL (Lake Highland Prep / Central Florida Elite) – 6’1 Wing

Blue is long, athletic, versatile and is a steady performer on the court. She uses her wingspan well on the defensive end to get tips and deflections as well as get into passing lanes. Her 6’1 height is extremely intriguing for college coaches for a perimeter player as she is a capable 3-point shooter with ability to put it to the floor and attack the rim. She has a ton of potential and is an impact player on both ends of the floor when active.
Khadee Hession Khadee Hession 5'10" | CG St Thomas Aquinas | 2024 State FL (St. Thomas Aquinas / Esssence) – 5’9 Guard

Hession is one of the most well-rounded perimeter players in the state of Florida regardless of class. While she does not do any one skill exceptional, she fills up the stat sheet in a variety of categories and is an impact player on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. She has good size and strength at 5’9 and uses it well. She can create off the bounce and attack the paint taking contact on the floor and in the air, finishing vs contact. While on the defensive end, she guards aggressively applying ball pressure to ball handlers and playing opposing players physical and disrupting their ability to initiate offensive from the point guard position.
Carmen Richardson Carmen Richardson 5'8" | CG Colonial | 2024 State FL (Colonial / Central Florida Elite) – 5’8 Guard

Richardson did a little bit of everything for Colonial this past season, leading them in scoring (14.3 PPG), rebounding (5.6 RPG), steals (2.3 SPG), and FT percentage (77%) while also dishing out 2.5 assists per game and shooting 35% from 3. Her stat line on the season is indicative of her game as she has a well-rounded offensive skill set and makes an impact in a number of ways on the court. Not just an impact player on the offensive end of the court, Richardson also is an aggressive and energetic defensive player who can guard in the half court and the full court. Following up a big Sophomore season for a Colonial, with a number of impressive performances for CFE this spring/summer, Richardson moves up 6 spots to # 14 overall in the class of 2024.
Unique Horton Unique Horton 6'2" | PF Miami SouthRidge | 2024 State FL (Somerset Academy Silver Palms / Miami Suns) – 6’2 Forward
New Ranking: 18

Horton makes one of the biggest jumps in the class of 2024, moving up 50+ spots and into the top 20, coming in at # 18 in the class of 2024. In a class where size and front court players are very rare, Horton stands out with her strong, athletic 6’2 build. She moves exceptionally well for her size, mixes it up down low, and can play inside and out.
Nia Blocton Nia Blocton 6'0" | PF Ridgeview | 2024 State FL (Ridgeview / MHD Elite) – 6’0 Wing

Blocton stands out in warmups for her body. She is a big, athletic guard/wing that has a college ready body. She is an active perimeter player that does a great job rebounding the ball and gets her hands on a lot of balls. She averaged a double double for Ridgeview (15.6 points and 12.1 rebounds per game) while shooting 42% from the field, snatching 2.9 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. She moves up 4 spots, breaking into the top 25 and coming in at # 21.
Camryn Patterson Camryn Patterson 5'9" | CG Southeastern Preparatory Academy | 2024 State FL (Hagerty / Team Knight) – 5’9 Guard
New Ranking: 28

Patterson was an integral part of the success of Faith Christian run in the 2A FHSAA playoffs. She has an excellent combo of size, strength, combined with a strong skill set and excellent body control. Patterson can get to the rim by attacking off the dribble and using her body and strength to absorb contact and finish at the rim or get to the free three line. She fills up the stat sheet across all statistical categories (points, rebounds, assists, steals) and is very active and aggressive. Patterson makes a big jump of 20+ spots, moving all the way up to # 28 in the class of 2024.
Tamara Elliott Tamara Elliott 5'6" | PG Western | 2024 State FL (Western / Miami Suns) – 5’6 Guard
New Ranking: 30
Previous Ranking: 35
Elliot is a quick, playmaking combo guard that can handle the rock, distribute the ball to players in scoring position setting them up for easy baskets, and selectively find opportunities to score the basketball herself. She has a strong, compact build with solid athleticism. She is aggressive with the ball in her hand, pushing the tempo in the open court and attacking the paint with shifty 1v1 moves off the bounce.

This is the third update of the 2024 rankings in 2022. We have taken a look at players performance and potential with both their High School and Travel teams. If there is a player that not included in the rankings or you feel is not ranked properly, please email us at WholeyPrepHoops@gmail.com and include Name, Height, Position, HS, Travel team, any stats available and any video available. Our goal is to cover the entire state, but we are well aware that we have not seen everyone in the state and those that we have seen, we have not seen all of them equally the same amount of time and games.

Players are ranked on their status as a college prospect.
