Shakara McCline (East St. Louis): The 5’6″ 2023 scoring point guard was easily the most talented player at the camp and she showcased her impressive array of offensive skills throughout the scrimmage sessions. She has quickness, smooth handles and an excellent change of pace to get by defenders and into the lane. She has a feathery shooting touch from 3-point range and she can also create her own shot off the dribble. She also dropped some impressive dimes on the move in transition.
Addie Kane Addie Kane 5'11" | SF Westminster Christian Academy | 2025 State MO (Westminster Christian): A 5’11” 2025 forward who played with a high motor that was always going at both ends. She is physically strong and she looked to attack the basket at every opportunity. She could finish well on her slashing drives and she was also very good with her cutting ability off the ball to get more layups. She can also post up in the lane and score on a variety of moves.
Haley Ottenschneider (Breese Central): A 5’8″ 2023 guard from Southern Illinois who is physically strong with excellent handles and court vision. She is a very unselfish player who was always looking for the open teammate before she would look for her own shot. She made some nice reads on the pick and roll as a passer and as a scorer who could get downhill or hit the mid-range jumper.
Taylor Montgomery Taylor Montgomery 5'5" | CG Marquette | 2023 State MO (Pattonville): A 2023 point guard who exudes floor leadership and communication on the court. She led the group in the pre-camp stretching and she was always talking and giving instruction during the games. She also runs the show with her strong handles and playmaking ability. She dropped several nice dimes to open teammates while also being able to get downhill and get her own bucket on the drive. Above all, she is a great teammate.
Josie Grunzinger (Parkway West): A 5’10” 2025 forward who was one of the most impressive offensive players during the scrimmage sessions. She was getting buckets in a variety of ways, including the transition game where she ran the court hard and got several fast-break layups. She did a nice job scoring around the basket as she kept the ball up and finished well inside. She was also knocking down short jumpers and stepping out to hit mid-range jumpers off the catch.
