The Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Top 250 Expo was held last Saturday at the Center of St. Louis Sports. There was a talented group of players present from different sections of the state. Today, we look at some players who were GameChangers with their all around play during the event.
Hannah Fenton Hannah Fenton 5'5" | PG Pattonville | 2025 State MO (Pattonville): The 5’4″ 2025 point guard is a talented offensive player, but she was a Game Changer on this day because she had a big impact on the game that I watched her play without scoring a lot of points. She did an excellent job of keeping the tempo fast and furious at both ends of the court. She was advancing the ball with some good lead passes and she could also cover ground in the open court with her speed on the dribble. She distributed the ball well as she consistently found the open teammate. When it came time to get a bucket, she can create one with her ball handling skills and escape moves. She can hit the pull up jumper or knock down the 3-pointer. She was also providing very good on-ball pressure on the defensive end. For playing the role as the consummate point guard, Hannah Fenton Hannah Fenton 5'5" | PG Pattonville | 2025 State MO is a Prep Girls Hoops MIssouri Top 250 Expo GameChanger.
Willow Gideon Willow Gideon 5'10" | SG Rolla | 2024 State MO (Rolla): The 5’10” 2024 wing was a Game Changer on Saturday because she was one of the top perimeter shooters that I watched at the event. If she got a little time and space, the shot was going up and more often than not, it was going to swish through the nets. Her release is quick and she has a high-arching shot from long distance. She also plays well without the basketball with her movement to get herself open. She also has good length and mobility to be a playmaker out on the court with her ball handling. She can also be a factor as a rebounder and defender with her height and athleticism. All of this makes Willow Gideon Willow Gideon 5'10" | SG Rolla | 2024 State MO a Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo GameChanger.
Nautica Washington Nautica Washington 5'9" | CG Battle | 2024 State MO (Battle): The 5’9″ combo guard from Mid-Missouri was a GameChanger with her smooth overall offensive game. She plays the game with a nice, easy flow whether she has the ball in her hands or if she’s working without the ball with her movement. She plays with good pace and she is capable of changing speeds with the ability to create her own shot off the dribble. She penetrates into the lane well as she is capable of getting a bucket from all three levels. She knows where she wants to go with the ball and she doesn’t get sped up. That makes Nautica Washington Nautica Washington 5'9" | CG Battle | 2024 State MO a Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Top 250 Expo GameChanger.
Kennedy Horton Kennedy Horton 6'0" | PF Pattonville | 2025 State MO (Pattonville): The 6’0″ 2025 forward was a GameChanger at Saturday’s Expo as she showcased her athleticism and improved skill with a number of eye-popping plays during the day. The one play that really stood out was when she grabbed an offensive rebound, she spun out of traffic and dribbled the length of the court and finished with a nice left-handed layup. It was a very impressive move. She also stepped out and knocked down a 3-pointer from the corner and a high post jump shot. She can also put the ball on the floor and attack off the dribble. She has continued to improve as a player and the results are showing. She was already a solid rebounder and defensive player who used her size and mobility to impact play in those two areas. She also runs the floor with ease which can result in transition buckets. Kennedy Horton Kennedy Horton 6'0" | PF Pattonville | 2025 State MO was definitely a Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo GameChanger.
Kamryn Brown Kamryn Brown 5'9" | CG Orion | 2026 State IL (Orion): The 5’9″ 2026 guard was a GameChanger on Saturday because she did a little bit of everything in the game that I watched her. She led her team in scoring with 11 points as she displayed a nice offensive skill set. She hit a nice turnaround jumper on the baseline off the dribble and then knocked down a Corner 3-pointer off the catch. She had some nice takes to the basket in the lane and she displayed an excellent spin move. I liked how she handled the ball against pressure. She was strong with the ball as she executed a couple of good step-throughs against the double team. Kamryn Brown Kamryn Brown 5'9" | CG Orion | 2026 State IL is a talented youngster who was a Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Top 250 Expo GameChanger.
