Harper Harris Harper Harris 5'8" | CG Mandan | 2025 State ND : (5’8 G Mandan 2025)- If there is one last name we all know in the WDA is the name Harris, and for all the right reasons. Harper much like her older sisters is loaded with talent as well. The returning Sophomore for the Braves will also be a big figure on the court. Harris has many good qualities to her game, dribbling, endurance and a great knack at feeding the ball to the inside, and hitting open shots. Over the last few years we have seen her confidence rise with increased playing time, and you can be sure she will get plenty more this year. She has every ingredient and skill set to contribute in many ways, she could have a big break out year this year as well, trust me…you’ll hear her name plenty in the future.
Ashlyn Buchholz: (5’9 G Century 2025)- Another young player for the Patriots that has a ton of skill in her bag. Last year Buchholz didn’t have a ton of minutes but, but I assure you that will be changing this year. Buchholz is a shifty Guard that has a good eye for the court and knows how to make plays happen. Defensively she moves very well and has great endurance to add to it, she’s the type of player that will give it 110% all game long and isn’t afraid to knock down open jumpers or pound the lane as well. I can see her being a key factor down the road with a little more time. But never less, she is one to keep an eye on, she’s only going to get better throughout the year, and the sky is the limit for her.
Taya Fettig: (5’6 G Bismarck 2025)- Fettings skills have only gotten better and better over the last few years, and you can bet that isn’t going to slow down. A confident guard that really knows how to push the ball up the court, and can make a defense pay if you leave her open. She has a very fluid shot, and is known to hit jumpers from 15-20′ and knock down the occasional 3-pointer as well. I expect to see her getting more and more playing time through the year, she has many good qualities to her game and is also a vocal leader on the court. She will be a name to watch down the road.
Laney Will: (5’3 G Minot 2026) – Laney is a player we are all going to want to keep our eyes on, she is another young one coming out of Minot that could really shake things up down the road. Laney is an incredibly hard worker who goes 110% all game long, something any Coach appreciates. On top of that, you can tell she has spent a ton of time working on her dribbling and shooting, and defensively she likes to force turnovers and make the opposing guard work for everything. With the skills she has in her pocket, she could be a HUGE help to the Magicians this year and the coming years. She’s fun to watch, and knows how to play…and play well.
