These talented prospects shined every second they were on the court, and are really starting to turn heads with their play. Do not be surprised when you see these names pop up everywhere once the season starts to get rolling… Check out the rest of my analysis from the event over the next week!
Madison Crawford Madison Crawford 5'6" | PG Mansfield Legacy | 2026 State TX 2026 5’6 Mansfield Legacy High School
Madison is a SPECIAL guard who thrives at her ability to create separation and get into the paint with her handle, constantly shifting her opponents and blowing past them. Her ability to explode past her opponents and then force a second defender to react, allows her to be a special play-maker for her teammates. She has a crafty floater that she loves to get to in the paint, and it allows her to shoot over the top of bigger forwards in her way. However what makes her the most deadly has to be her ability to score from the perimeter off the bounce, constantly getting into her shot from all three levels of the court after some nasty crossovers.
Defensively, she is incredibly aware and vocal; calling out defensive assignments for her teammates and moving into open space to cut off driving angles for her opponent. Her awareness on this side of the court really impressed me, and she even showed a willingness to fight on the glass and grab offensive and defensive rebounds! After collecting a defensive rebound she always made the picture perfect outlet pass, even passes up 3/4 of the court! Her passes hit her teammates in stride, even on the length of the court.
Endia Stigall Endia Stigall 5'5" | PG Hays (Buda) | 2026 State TX 2026 5’5 Hays (Buda) High School
Highlights
Endia is a high level guard who can easily score from all three levels of the floor. She takes what the defense gives her every time down the court, and is willing to attack the basket or threaten the defense from the perimeter. She has all the tools to become a high level combo guard with how well she saw the floor but also operated the pick and roll. She patiently waited for the screen to come and then quickly attacked as soon as the defense hesitated. Out of the pick and roll she knows how to attack the rim and force a third defender to step up or make a decision, and then quickly fire a kick-out pass or go up strong. She was great at getting downhill on the fast break, constantly pushing the tempo and keeping her team’s pace high.
Madyson Mitchell Madyson Mitchell 5'8" | SG SHOEMAKER | 2026 TX 2026 5’6 Shoemaker High School
Madyson is a high level guard who is a special slasher already at this stage in the game. She routinely finishes through contact and is not afraid of anyone on the other side of the court. I loved the energy she displayed, taking anyone she wanted off the bounce and then getting tough shots to fall on the interior. She routinely took open jumpers in the mid-range, after the threat of her getting downhill was evident. She routinely took what the defense gave her on the offensive end. Her aggressiveness on both ends of the court allows her to dominate on the interior, and with how easily she makes tough finishes seem defenses are always on their heals when she is on the court. Defensively, she is great at defending the perimeter, but also can scream over from the weak side to protect the rim. She has a great blend of size and athleticism at this stage in the game and as she continues to grow and develop, she looks to have all the tools to become a dynamic weapon at the next level!
Jordan Ek Jordan Ek 5'8" | SG Tom Clark | 2026 TX 2026 5’8 Tom Clark High School
Jordan is a high level shooting guard/ small forward who specializes at locking up on the defensive end and knocking down shots on the perimeter. I was very impressed by how well she was able to move into open space and she always seemed ready to shoot, even after jamming up her finger pretty bad early in the event. Her grit and determination that she showed on the court really stood out to me. With the ball in her hands, she constantly made good decisions, especially on the fast break where she found her teammates up the court who had the advantage. Her unselfishness and willingness to make the right basketball play was a truly fun thing to watch!
She has a fantastic motor, and works hard on both ends of the court. She is constantly cutting and moving into space when she does not have the ball, wearing out her opponent more on that end of the court than she gets worn out defending them! She has quick feet which allows her to stay in front of ball handlers, and cut off driving angles.
