Allen walked away with some hardware and deservedly so. Allen was a standout at PGH 250 with good offense and great defense. At Select 50, Allen had it cooking on the offensive end. Quickness is Allen’s calling card and she really got down hill at this event. She also finished with some floaters, mid-range jumpers and layups. Some layups were finished through contact. Christina Collins / 5’7 CG / Lakeview – Fort Oglethorpe / GA
If there was one thing that showed in Collin’s game, it was versatility. She had the ability to score on the inside and the outside. Most of her inside shots came in the uptempo game and in transition. She had the ball in her hands a lot in transition and was crafty and fast enough to get by the defender. On the inside, she converted some very difficult shots. Collins was also “money” from behind the three point line.
Dalyce Sanders / 5’7 SG / Marbury / AL
Sanders was efficient all day long from behind the arc. Sanders doesn’t show much emotion, but she is a bonafide sniper on the court. She shot it well from all over the court and was very efficient behind the three point line. Sanders was selected as one of the top guards at the event.
Makala Hobdy / 5’5 CG / Charles Henderson HS / AL
Hobdy was one of the most skilled ball players on the court and she can really handle the basketball. She plays very good defense and plays the passing lanes.
