SOME THINGS STAY THE SAME
Reynolds has been at the top of the rankings list since the day she walked through the high school doors. News flash: That’s not going to change. Her play in the state playoffs was awe inspiring and she continued her dominance through the spring and summer seasons. Reynolds can go 1 on 1 and can get buckets for her team when needed but is also an ace at setting the table.
Bisballe is such a well schooled post player. She is so underrated as a defender in the paint. Her footwork is solid, allowing her to rotate comfortably and pick up a guard on a dribble drive. Bisballe stays extended and vertical on defense, helping her to challenge shooters and scorers and pick up a lot of blocks in the process.
Fellenbaum is a name that should be very familiar with basketball coaches and fans around the state of Michigan. She’s been ranked throughout her high school career and has always carried a lot of upside. Fellenbaum is really fulfilling that promise that her talent brings. She’s terrific on both ends of the floor, defending at a very high level and being one of the best attacking wings in the class.
Highlights
SOME THINGS NEW
Bolton definitely deserves to be a ranked prospect. She can attack offensively with her handles and foot speed, in addition to her ability to bury a jumper with 3 point range. On defense, her quickness and foot speed again play a role. Bolton consistently beats the offensive player to their spot and can create chaos with ball pressure.
It looks like Walker will earn her way into the prospect rankings for the class of 2024. I’ve been impressed with her court vision, both seeing teammates open ahead of the ball as well as spotting lanes to the rim. Walker is very comfortable attacking with the left and has shown off a nice little right to left crossover move that often gets her a step ahead of the defender.
This is a warning shot: Opposing teams and players should be very aware of Fritz. She’s a player that I really think could have a big breakout type of season. Fritz has worked hard to be a step ahead with her quickness and conditioning, and that will serve her well come high school season. She has shown to have some playmaker skills in her game.
