She has a long wingspan and is always in the opposing teams passing lanes. Offensively, Washington can shoot it from 3 as well as finish in the lane. She was able to score 10 pts against a very good Notre Dame Prep team this weekend. Washington recently picked up a scholarship offer from Division-2 Chaminade University. Look for Washington to continue to grab attention from the best college programs in the nation.
2023 6’0 W/F Kaitlyn Beall Kaitlyn Beall 6'0" | PF Dream City Christian School | 2023 State AZ (Dream City Christian): Beall is lengthy prospect in the class of 2023. She is an elite finisher around the rim. Beall is deceptively quick and often is able to break down her defenders off the dribble to get into the lane. Defensively, Beall is a competitor. She is aggressive and does a really good job at creating deflections. Beall is an elite rebounder and is always doing her part on the boards. Beall is a top prospect in the class of 2023 and would be a great addition to any college program.
2023 6’1 F Rori Hoffmeier (Cibola HS): Hoffmeier is a big time post prospect in the class of 2023. At 6’1 she is a true post and does a really good job finishing in the paint. Defensively, she is able to protect the rim by using her wingspan to alter opposing teams shots in the lane. Look for Hoffmeier to average a double-double this year.
2024 5’5 G Isabela Molina Isabela Molina 5'4" | PG Cibola | 2024 State AZ (Cibola HS): Molina is a top-notch floor general in the class of 2024. She has a really good sense for the game of basketball tallying 16 assists in her two games over the weekend. Molina is quick and loves to push pace in transition. She is also elite at finishing through contact in the lane. I would anticipate Molina having a big season for Cibola and continue to grab attention from college coaches.
2024 6’1 G/W Thalia Daniels Thalia Daniels 6'0" | SF Sandra Day | 2024 State AZ (Sandra Day OC): Daniels is a star in the making. She has tremendous length, skill, and high IQ. Daniels made some big shots and got to the rim with ease over the weekend. Look for Daniels to have a huge junior season for the super talented Eagles.
2024 5’3 G Eanae Dagons Eanae Dagons 5'3" | PG Desert Vista | 2024 State AZ (Desert Vista HS): Dagons is an elite guard in the class of 2024. She is an elite finisher at the rim and sees the court extremely well. Defensively, she’s as good as it comes. Intense ball pressure and quick hands translates to easy steals for Dagons. Desert Vista is loaded with talent and I would be very surprised to see them lose more than a couple games all year with their depth.
2024 5’10 W/F Ava Pautz Ava Pautz 5'11" | SF Notre Dame Prep | 2024 State AZ (Notre Dame Prep): Pautz is a lengthy wing prospect in the class of 2024. She is very good with her back to the basket and finishing over smaller defenders. She is quicker than most bigs which makes her a nightmare matchup for opposing teams. Look for Pautz to put up some monster stats this year.
2024 5’7 G Toyin Akinsipe (Deer Valley HS): Akinsipe is a competitor. She is willing to do whatever it takes to win a basketball game. Akinsipe is at her best when she’s getting in the lane and finishing through contact. She is very good at drawing fouls and knocking down free throws. If Akinsipe gets hot from 3, she will be nearly impossible to guard. A top-tier prospect in the class of 2024.
2024 5’11 G Madison Brown Madison Brown 5'11" | SF Desert Vista | 2024 State AZ (Desert Vista HS): Brown is a lights-out shooter in the class of 2024. She’s playing with some of the best guards in the country in Ijiwoye, Dagons, and Robinson. You can’t help off Brown because she will torch you from beyond the arch. Look for Brown to put up some big 3 point numbers this year and start to draw attention from college coaches in need of 3 and D prospects.
2024 5’10 G Sierra Bomhower Sierra Bomhower 5'10" | SF Cibola | 2024 State AZ (Cibola HS): Bomhower is a lengthy guard prospect in the class of 2024. Her size allows her to finish over smaller defenders. Defensively, her wingspan makes her an elite defender as she is always in opposing teams passing lanes. Laterally, Bomhower is very quick and is able to stay in front the quickest of guards. I’d anticipate Bomhower having a breakout season on a very good Cibola team.
2026 5’10 G Aubrey Bhesania (Sandra Day OC): Bhesania is a very talented freshman for Sandra Day OC. Bhesania can shoot it from deep as well as pull-up off the dribble. Defensively, she’s able to stay in front of quicker guards and alter their shots. Bhesania is a lengthy shooting guard that will make a big name for herself in the near future.
2026 5’7 G Emma Slack (Dream City Christian): Slack is the definition of a 3 point specialist. She can shoot it from anywhere on the court at a very high percentage. This weekend she was able to knock down a multitude of threes against a lot older opponents. Dream City Christian is super talented and adding a 3 point freshman sensation in Emma Slack will make them a very tough opponent for the best of teams in the state.
