Madison Hunter, High School Cohasset, AAU Lady TNE, HT 5-6, Position CG, Class 2027
Maddison caught my eye with her work ethic during the drills, and her attention to details. She looked focused and took the coaches feedback well. In the scrimmage she was effect at the 1 or the 2 position and had a few nice passes to her teammates, and a few good takes to the rim.
Valentina Resto, class 2028, High School ST Mary Academy, HT 5-3, Position CG, AAU shooting touch,
Valentina was one of my favorite Middle School players in attendance. She plays with poise and above her age level. She is only going to continue to get bigger and stronger, so she has not reached her full potential yet. She is a skilled guard, who is quick, and proved to be able to score over bigger defenders. A smart player who understands the game well especially for her age. Expect Valentina to be a name you will here about in the coming years.
Rachel Penny , High School Edward Little, AAU Maine Basketball Club, HT 5-8, Position SG, Class 2025
When you think of a traditional 3 and D player Penny should come to mind. She is a lights out three point shooter, and also a lock down defender. She moves without the ball on offense well, and has a smooth shooting form from the outside. She is adding to her skill set and becoming more versatile on offense. She has a high basketball IQ and is able to read the next play. She is really good playing 2 passes away on defense and anticipating what the offense will do. A player who can hit shots and get stops, will definitely earn minutes on any team.
Evelyn Schwartz , High School Lincoln Sudbury, AAU Lady TNE, HT 5-11, Position SG/SF, Class 2025,
I have seen Evelyn play multiple times now and she continues to impress me. She had a very strong Freshman season including a game with 24 points and 5 rebounds. I think she will carry that momentum into her sophomore season. She is a stretch 5-11 player, that can knock down threes, score in transition, and has a good inside out game. I like the upside with her game.
Juice Coston, High School Tech Boston, AAU Dana Barros, Position CG, HT 5-8, Class 2026
Juice caught my eyes with her rebounding, on ball defense, and ability to attack off the dribble. She has an evolving skill set, and should raise her stock in her Freshman year. She is hard working, and dove for a ball during the scrimmage. She also had some nice finishes in the one on 1 drills.
