Among that group were more than two dozen of Minnesota’s premier scholarship-level prospects. It shouldn’t be a surprise then to see the quality of the athletes who made our Top 250 2025 All Star Team. Here they are:
Let’s cut to the chase, shall we? I want to make things as simple and clear as possible by saying this: Regardless of class, Jordan Ode Jordan Ode 5’11” | CG Maple Grove | 2025 State MN was the best player in the gym on Saturday. Period. Full stop. End of story. Sure there were a lot of talented kids there – Division 1 prospects like Alyssa Sand Alyssa Sand 6’2″ | PF Albany | 2024 State MN , Brooklynn Holmberg Brooklynn Holmberg 5’11” | SG Prior Lake | 2025 State MN and Ava Holman Ava Holman 5’9″ | CG Champlin Park | 2024 MN , for example – but Ode is the most highly-sought recruit among them for good reason. If you were there Saturday you saw it. Ode is a high-major talent who can take over a game while making everyone around her look like the very best version of themselves. Jordan is skilled, tenacious and athletic, and that is a particularly deadly combination when blended with the fact that she has perhaps the biggest motor of any prospect in the state. I could watch this kid all day every day and never grow tired of the show.

The Top 250 Expo is all about opportunity. It’s a chance to be who you are, show what you’ve got, play to your strengths and have a little fun in the process. It’s also a great opportunity to showcase just how much you have improved. Case in point: Magi Bjornson Magi Bjornson 6’1″ | PF Farmington | 2025 State MN . Clearly Magi has a ton of potential. Being that she’s already over 6’1 she’s going to get lots of occasions in which to prove that. But what we saw on Saturday was a leaner, quicker, faster and more aggressive version of Bjornson than we’ve seen before. She was getting up and down the floor at pace and playing with a lot more flow and cohesion than before. It can take some time for big post players to grow into their bodies and have all of the moving parts come together as a whole. Magi is almost certain to be a starter this year at Farmington and she looked up to the job at the Top 250.
When the Prep Girls Hoops prospect rankings were last updated for the Class of 2025 in June Elayna was a big stock riser, moving up 12 positions to #35. It was a well-deserved bump given just how much she has improved over the past year. On Saturday at Hopkins, Boe looked like she is headed for the Top 20 and on a Division 1 collegiate roster three years from now! With a ton of length, no shortage of athleticism, superior elevation and a team-first mindset, Elayna has all the assets coaches look for at the next level. She is versatile, coachable and has really solid fundamentals. She is a popular teammate and a leader on the floor. And she’s going to get a whole lot better. Looking for a potential Breakout Player of the Year? Elayna might be a candidate.

Ojullu is a teammate of Boe on the Crossfire Mueller AAU squad which had a ton of success this summer thanks in large part to the growth in Aduke’s game. What we saw Saturday was the fruits of her summer labor – the extra work after practice, the execution in tough game situations, and the confidence she gained as a result. Aduke is super long and she uses that gigantic wingspan and her solid defensive understanding to get deflections and block shots at a high rate. Offensively her ball-handling is solid and much-improved. She has put in a ton of work on her shooting and had the green light all summer to let it fly. Aduke has very nice court vision, as well. With her back to the basket, Ojulu has some go-to post moves that are very difficult to contain with her length. While she still has to fill out and get stronger, what we’re seeing now is the evolution of a scholarship-level player.
This isn’t a story about stock risers but it might as well be. And no player profiled here raised their stock more at the Top 250 Expo than Torry did. It’s not like Bra’ja came into the event as an unknown commodity. This summer she earned a spot in the Prep Girls Hoops Top 100 among incoming sophomores. On Saturday, she ran the show for her team like a seasoned veteran. She was cool and calm, demonstrated excellent court vision and really nice feel for the game, and made it obvious that she knows how to execute an offense. Torry also showed off some defensive tenacity and a fierce competitive spirit. Torry is a new arrival at Eastview where she has made a strong early impression. If her play Saturday at the Expo is any indication, Coach Molly Kasper and company have added another intriguing young talent to an already quality group.
