Eden Fridley Eden Fridley 5'9" | CG Bismarck Century | 2024 State ND – Century High School – (5’9/CG/2024) – A skilled player that is only going to get better like fine wine. Fridley proved last year that she can score in a variety of ways. I have no doubt she’ll be a go getter for this tough Century team this year. With great size and body control she finishes at the rim above her class and has a sweet looking jump shot. Her production is going to multiply this year. I predict Eden will average above 12 points and 5 rebounds a game this year.
Mia Berryhill Mia Berryhill 5'8" | CG Bismarck Legacy | 2024 State ND – Bismarck Legacy – (5’7/CG/2024) – A sixth man for the start of last year turned starter towards the end. Berryhill is an elusive offensive player and a skilled defender that plays solid gap side help. She’s so impressive in the open court and has worked tremendously on her confidence as she’s able to pull up from almost anywhere on the court. Mia is going to make a lot more noise come this season for the Sabers that you can’t ignore. Berryhill is going to be a household name in no time.
Tesa Olson Tesa Olson 5'10" | CG Valley City | 2024 State ND – Valley City – (5’9/CG/2024) – A quick in your face guard that plays good defense and likes to run in the open court. Olson has a nice jumper and will for sure be a go to player this year. She averaged just under 10 points a game last year, but will ramp up production in a nasty way this year. I really like this guard and her willingness to leave it all on the court. Tesa gets overshadowed by some of the bigger names in the WDA, but make no mistake this guard is legit and is going to be fun to watch this upcoming season.
Allison Thomas Allison Thomas 5'7" | CG Medina-Pingree/Buchanan | 2024 State ND – MPB – (5’6/CG/2024) – Thomas is a fluid offensive threat. She showed great progress from her ACL tear about 2 years ago and showed a lot of signs in getting back to her normal self. She’s still plays a bit timid at times, but has really come into her own offensively speaking. A player that you can’t leave open of she’ll tear into your defense. It’ll be interested what bag of goodies she’s worked on in the off season. I think Thomas could be a real 3 level scorer once that confidence finally comes back.
Melissa Dougan Melissa Dougan 5'6" | CG Surrey | 2024 State ND – Surrey – (5’5/CG/2024) – A solid ball handler and many ways plays like a point guard. I expect she’ll transition out of being a combo guard by the amount of touches she gets per game. Melissa is a strong IQ player that sees the floor for what it is. A solid three point threat that you have to play honest with and a quick cut off defender that can halt your offense with poor guard play. I think Melissa is a real dark horse on this list, but I’m excited to see how she plays this season.
