Branscum brought versatility scoring the ball all along the perimeter, needing to be guarded at all times. Standing right around 6′ tall, the shooting guard displayed high level shotmaking from all over the floor. Notably while using on-ball screens, Branscum was capable knocking down shots should the defense go under or take advantage of an open driving lane should opponents go over on the screen. She possesses the size to see above the defense to playmake for teammates, while still having the positional strength to take hits on drives. Continuing to utilize her size as a two way rebounder will have a major effect on her impact on the floor. Through her sophomore season with Mountain View, Branscum averaged 17 points, 9 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game while contributing 53% of two point attempts and 30% of three point attempts. While unranked, Branscum will have eyes on her this upcoming season.

At 5’11, the incoming junior shooting guard displayed shooting upside off the catch and bounce. She was capable pulling up into turnaround fadeaways or simply stepping into a shot should the defense fail to make a hard closeout. Another key for Bunck came on the glass, where she was one of her team’s two or three best rebounders on a possession by possession basis. Last season, Bunck averaged a team high 18.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.5 steals while contributing 54% of her two-point attempts and 39% of her three-point attempts.
Rhya Cano Rhya Cano 5'11" Fort Collins | 2024 CO – Fort Collins – 2024
Cano was easily one of the best defensive athletes at this event, both one on one and on the help side. Standing right around 5’11, Cano brought energy on every possession. When guarding opponents one on one, Cano was more than capable taking a hit and keeping her arms straight up for the block. She also proved quite mobile, jumping passing lanes multiple times. Cano showed she could match up well against 2s and 3s while having the quickness to heavily contests against opposing lead guards. She will be an intriguing name to keep tabs on, especially with a growing offensive toolbox throughout the year.
Ella Lavigne Ella Lavigne 5'10" | SG Fossil Ridge | 2024 CO – Fossil Ridge – 2023
Lavigne was one of the most efficient names from this event, due to her impact without the ball. Standing right around 5’11, Lavigne brings toughness on the glass as a mobile rebounder who is capable guarding up should opposing size be an issue. Coming off those rebounds, Lavigne was capable pushing the break herself or tossing up an outlet pass. On the offensive end, she was excellent spotting up for jumpers or stepping into short mid range jumpers should the defense play off her. Continuing to develop the ballhandling confidence going either direction will be essential for the incoming senior wing.
